Unwanted all; scam/ telemarketing

My message from Pierre was I had won $50,000,00  I guess I will have to share with all of you when I get it

Received a call last week about winning $50,000 from a sweepstakes entry that  I entered in. I did not or did anyone in my parents house enter a sweepstakes of any kind!!!! I called the number just to see if I could find out who was actually calling & the answering machine that has you waiting on hold for the next available operator said that I had reached a place called National Premiums. ITS A BIG SCAM!!!!

Received a voice mail message from "Peter" in the Awards Notification Department (company not specified) stating that I had entered a drawing for $50,000.00 cash sometime in the last year, and that he was looking at my entry and had good news for me.  He asked me to call back at 866-861-6525, so I entered that number into Google, and thankfully found this feedback.

I did not call him back.

well, now it is a $50,000 giveaway. LOL!

I received the same message today from Peter, however the prize went up to $50,000.  Won't be calling back based on these posts

Since my home phone is a digital phone from Charter, it also gave me extra info who is the one that left me that particular message. The CID from that voice mail is from phone number 1-312-488 1851 which showing the name Bill Bentley.

I never call back since the name not fit with "Peter", so I googled and found this blog.

The call came in "unknown". Voicemail stated i entered a drawing for $50,000 about a year ago, also stated they had goid news for me. The voicemail stated that I needed ti call back the 866 number. I NEVER ENTER DRAWINGS! Its a definite scam, DO NOT TRUST.

Well he offered me $50,000 but I don't need a boob job so you can have half of mine to get them both done!  Anyone else need a boob job with the other half?

Just received a voice message about a $50,000 giveaway.  Call came from a 312 area code, but the 866-861-6525 was the number listed to call back.  Glad to know it is a scam!

This knob called my mom's VM she always gives me the numbers and inevitably, I end up in this forum!!  I knew it was B.S. from the the beginning.   By the way the Owner is Bill Bentley and calls originate from Chicago Ill. It's a boiler room. I just saw the Wolf of Wall Street too LOL.

I rec'd a voice mail from "Peter" claiming he was looking at my entry from a short while ago for $50K . . . . call the number - blah, blah.  Deleting that message.  Thanks for all the messages above/below confirming my thought that "it's too good to be true".

Same message as stated, from Peter. $50k winner of a contest I didn't enter. Didn't mention my name in the whole message. Obvious scam.

Yup Peter said I won too!! let's see 50,000 x 200,000 winners! That is 1,000,000,000!

Ditto to all the above.  But, if Pierre were smart, he' d place several anonymous posts right here claiming he actually called back and won something.  Seeing absolutely no good news here tells me don't call back

Same message from Peter....$50,000. Never enter contest so I know it's crap. He needs to be in jail simply because he's a menace and quite ignorant.

I think he's using the name "Peter" now - a creative transition from "Pierre." The message appears to be recorded. He's called me 2x from two different numbers so I'll just keep ignoring the calls rather than attempting to block a number.

I received a voice mail message from this number left by a "Peter" - with a slight Erie area accent - on 18 Jan 2014, 15:21:00 est. "Hi, this is Peter here from the Rewards Notification Department. Just responding to the automatic entry that was submitted sometime back within the past year in hopes of winning the 50k dollar cash giveaway. Well the contest is officially over, we are looking at your entry, and we have very good news for ya. What we need is you to give us a call as soon as possible at toll free here 1 866 861 6525. Again that's toll free 1 866 861 6525. We look to hear from you soon and congratulations."
I do not participate in giveaway contests where the rewards are services or cash prizes.

Received the same message from Peter on 1/20, requesting a call back to 866-861-6525.  The caller id number on my phone was 872-221-0470.
