Received a vmail from Peter with Awards Notification, same message - $50,000 winner for something I supposedly entered this year - will not be calling back thanks to these posts.

I got a call from this Illinois number telling me to call this 1866 number about 50,000 I supposedly won. But I don't remember entering anything. So I decided to investigate this number. Thanks to you guys for posting to let others know it's fake.

Got the same message from "Peter" for a $50,000 contest which I did not enter. Will NOT return a call.

A man named Brett Michael's has called twice and left messages saying he has "good news" about a $50,000 giveaway.

We just got a call from Peter and Brent, two different voicemails about the 50,000 prize. What a joke. Did I mention they are the same person? It's the same message, same voice, two different names. Oh and the same fake prize. Where is my 50k?? ha. fools.

Same exact call like all the others. I didn't answer and will not be calling back!  I "won" 50k also lol

sunday robo caller - they are desperate

2/10/14  6PM  Caller ID showed:  708-658-0117 - 10 second delay when answering machine ended and then robo message claiming they are Brent Michaels National Notification of $50K giveaway contest that I entered 18 months ago has ended and they have good news for me.  Asked to call 866-861-6525 and again they have VERY good news for me.

A Bret Michaels called from (855) 545-7293 on Feb 7, 2014 stating we had entered a drawing a year to 18 months ago to win $50,000 and that he had very good news for us and saying congratulations.  He instructed us to call (866) 861-6525 as soon as possible.  Plan to ignore.

Pierre name is now Bret Michaels with $50,000 prize drawing.

His name is now Scott Sommers now. Wonder what it will be next week?

If you spell it Scott Summers, it's 'Cyclops' of the X-Men. Well, you don't want to mess around with those guys. Just tell them you are not now, or have you ever been a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Just had a phone message from Scott Sommers from the "National Notification Center" that we had won $50,000 in a contest we supposedly entered Months ago, and to please call him back at 866-861-6525.  Seems like we all won the contest, thanks!

I received a message on my answering service....called back and the person was Scott.  He said if I had shopped at ......and he named several stores including Walmart...Home Depot, Lowes, Target....etc. my telephone number had been entered into a $50,000 sweepstakes and I was in the final 50 entries.  He did not ask for personal SS number....bank account number or person information other than my zip code.  He noted we would receive a certified letter. He thanked me and that was the end of my conversation........I really do not know??????? Since he did not ask for SS or other important information!

Oh.....he said the final drawing would be within 90 days.........if for real.....here is hoping we win.....if not......I hope nothing lost.

Yes, first, if you get a call stating you won some $PRIZE and it is recorded, it ain't real. There was no personal information about me in the recording. Bogus from the word go. 1-866-861-6525.
"Scott Summers, National Notification Center." The call was from 1-708-859-1020. He never actually says I won anything. He says we are looking at your entry and then at the end of the message says congratulations.

I received a call (listed on my phone Caller-ID as Bill Bently @ 312-488-1851), but the caller on my voice-mail stated his name as "Scott Summers", from National Notification Center, about a $50,000 contest I had entered within the last year (of course he said the contest was over now but he had good news).  I was selected and should call him at 866-861-6525 as soon as possible.  Needless to say after checking on-line, this is a scam and I did not return the call.
