They keep calling me looking for one Allen Michelle Burton. I do not know any one by that name. I keep telling them wrong number and that I do not know any one by that name. They continue to call just the same.

I did not talk to anyone only because I was working and could not answer.  I went to listen to the voicemail afterwards and it was completely silent.  For the person who wrote you will see the number 1-866-864-5825 on your student loan paper work.  The actual number on their is 1-866-864-5823

I have that same number ending in 23 on my paper. I called the CRA, and they said anybody working as an agent will identify themselves immediately with a agent ID number. When I called the number back ending in 25 they answered with their first name, and did not give me no agent ID number.

They left me a voicemail because I was working on my phone was turned on airplane mode.

Got a call from 866 864 5825. I used a made up address and they agreed with that answer. I knew it wasnt real.

If "the real CRA phone number for collections is 1-888-863-8657" how can you say this number is "off by one digit"? Clearly it's off by a lot more than that.

I did not call 866-864-5825 but did google it. CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) doesn't call people. extremely rare & if they did the actual phone number would be +1-800-959-8281. Did call actual CRA & they said we do not call.

Got a call from this number and they did not leave a message but seeing how I don't have any student loans and I'm a US citizen and not from Canada I think we can all agree this is a scam.
