This number is for AGI TMO claiming to be a third party Insurance Company.  They got a hold of my VISA check card number and charged my personal bank account 4 times for $ 175.00 ($ 700.00 total).  They claim to be with T-Mobile.  Well I don't even have T-Mobile nor do I have a personal cellular phone.  I have Verizon which is paid through my family business.  My  card was charged while in my possession, once I contacted the bank and they determined that my card was compromised they tried to charge the same card 7 more times.  I received an alert on my phone.  This is how I noticed the charges.  The last 7 charged came through on my phone as declined.  I finally got my money back in my account yesterday after a week.  Very inconvient!!!

This number showed up on my Mom's Credit Union Statement for her MasterCard Debit Card.   It showed as MC Debit Purchases for AGI TMO Insurance out of PA.  There were nine charges for $175.00 and one charge for $150.00.  ($1725.00).  They were made on March 18, 2015 and March 19, 2015.  I called the number and a recording answered as "Assurant Solutions T-Mobile Device Protection Programs.  My Mom dose not have T-Mobile nor does anybody in our family.
I looked up the company on the Internet and there is an address from Wayne, PA.
My Mom cancelled her MasterCard and is still working on getting her $1725.00 back.

A quick search of the web turns up numerous complaints about this describing what has happened to you, sometimes 5 or 6 times in several minutes.  I can find no actual insurance company with that name that sells phone insurance.  Please make a report to the following organizations:

Pre auth charge appeared on my bank statement for $175.  Calling the company requires you to put in your cell #. Sent them an email through their "contact us" link to reverse this charge as I did not request cell phone insurance. Called T-mobile to inform them that their ins co is creating fraudulent charges. Now to cancel bank card & wait for (hopefully) a resolve. I don't have a t-mobile account.

It is a scam from Thailand.  Claim to be T-Mobile and give you phone insurance with Assurant a very questionable company..  First I got a bogus bill with a cell phone number.  By the looks of the paper it looked like a scam so I just ignored it.  Two days later I got mail from them saying my credit card number had been turned down because my credit score was 0195 or some 4 digit number.  I immediately called credit card company and reported the card as stolen.  Next mail from scammers was from the insurance company.  Oh yes,  the had charged my credit card with 200+ dollars. Guess they thought I would never catch it!

Same issue happened with my card after making a purchase on EBay not knowing the purchase item was from a company in Thailand. "Avoid any and all purchases from overseas vendors."

    Not stupid
There are many, many fraud charges for $175 to this company if you do a search. I was charged $175 twice within 7 minutes by AGI TMO (Assurant cell phone insurance). I dont have Assurant insurance and dont have Tmobile. My bank caught the fraud. There was also a charge to the red Cross for $175 (they explained this was a test to see if card was viable), however, red Cross was smart enough to flag it as fraud and reject the payment but AGI TMO (Assurant) was happy to take fraud info and charge me. Twice. Isn't it interesting assurant doesnt have any safeguards in place like red Cross does? Hmmm.... Makes you wonder if they are profiting from all these stolen card numbers....doesn't it Alan Colberg, CEO of Assurant?

Only charged me once, $175. Never have had T-mobile. Bank Statement reads something like: "Direct Marketing Ins, AGI - TMO." Called the number, got the recording, of course I did not give them my 10 digit phone # as requested, that could be inviting identity theft! Hope they are busted soon.

It's a scam.  They got me for $175 last week.  My bank is investigating it.  We are also contacting the police.  I don't even have a cell phone in my name AND the one I use is through my husband's business. They use Verizon Wireless!  This is fraud!

They got me twice. I have called them three times and my bank called them once in my presence. I got thru the robosecretary by dialing in 999-999-9999 and that's how we spoke with people. If they don't have the cell phone number your card was charged to, they can't do anything about it or back track the charges They just kept advising that the bank do a fraud investigation. They have no fraud department (don't know if I believe that) but gave us an address (no phone number) for their legal department. We can send a letter. This seems all very sketchy to me.  For this reason, I will never, and would never advise anyone to do business with t-Mobile.

They hit me with a 175.00 charge today. Luckily the bank caught it before they could do more damage. I called the number on a different phone and when they asked for phone # I typed all 0's . I was able to speak with a live person and did not give any personal info whatsoever. I found out they are located in carribean/Dominican Republic. I was given an email to their legal department and was told to provide screenshots of the fraudulent charge ( sure, ok...lol) . Assurant.processing.center@assurant.com

They hit my Discover card, just today for $1.00, then -$1.00.  Like a test charge. Then, hit it for $175.00.

Nice lady, in their fraud dept, in Utah handled everything. Closed the account, issued a new card, etc.

Just happened to go on tonight to make a payment and there were the pending charges. Perfect timing!

They charged my MC on 4/22/16 ... "AGI*TMO INS DEDUCTIBLE". MC lists phone as 866-866-6285 FREE, PA 190870000 US. I made no such charge. Obviously a scam as reported by many sites. Will report to AG and FTC.
