Why do you think the OP, from more than 2 years ago, cares?

Was charged $175 like everyone else. I called my bank and they also suspect fraud.
I do have t mobile but i dont have an assurant plan nor have i filed any kind of claim.
I verified with t mobile what number they have for assurant and it is indeed this number.
I asked the tmobile rep if they enroll people in this plan or share any information they said no. I do not believe that
i called the number and spoke to a guy who said they cant track anything unless i had more information. He said the amount is that of a claim so perhaps people are using stolen card numbers to file claims. Either way this is ridiculous and assurant needs to look at their security

It is a cell phone insurance company with T-Mobile, someone just used your payment information to pay a claim deductible with them. Sorry.
