just received a call from this number.  I have decided to not answer any calls if the number has no caller id. glad to find this is another scam number.

Received a call from 866-866-7509 with a 3 question survey regarding my phone service with Verizon.  Answered with rave reviews for Verizon and at the end they asked for the last 4 of my social.  I stated I would not give this information over the phone and they hung up.  I called the number back and it was Sprint Sales.  I immediately called Verizon and notified them.

I received a call from 866-866-7509 with a 3 question survey regarding my phone service with Verizon.  The caller stated that I would receive a $20 credit toward my next bill if I participated, so I did. At the end of the survey, the caller asked for my acct pin and last 4 digits of my social. After giving it to him, I became skeptical and immediately called Verizon and changed my pin. Verizon highlighted my acct in RED and changed my pin.  Meanwhile, I called the number back that the scammer used and it was Sprint Sales. I then spoke to the FRAUD department at Sprint as they did not care that someone was using their business number to try to scam hard working citizens of the good ole USA!!! I say shame on you Sprint for not trying to get to the bottom of this!

Called and told me the service in this area would be going out and that my next bill would be free because of the inconvenience. Could tell it was sketchy, then asked me to give my full name for their "confirmation number recording". Hung up, called sprint, they said there's no work scheduled in the area.

Just got a call from 866 866 7509 claiming to be Sprint customer service and offering a $20 credit - when I said how do in know your are from sprint- I said I wasn't going to answer any questions and hung up- the man called right back and said " f#%* you [***]"

Caller stated he was from Sprint and if I would answer just 3 short survey questions he would credit me $25 on my next phone bill.  The man had a very heavy accent and spoke broken English.  I don't even have Sprint, I told him so and hung up on him because I knew it was a phishing scam.

Got a call from this number.  They said that the Sprint towers were going down.  I told them that since I don't have sprint, that I didn't care if there towers were down.  He asked if I used to have sprint, and I replied that I never had Sprint.  He then commented that I switched to T-Mobile (also wrong).  I hung up then.

As soon as I put my phone down, they called back and again told me that the sprint towers were going down.  I replied that since I don't have sprint, I don't care what happens to their towers.  He then claimed that he said Verizon, not Sprint.  I hung up again.

They tried to call back 5 more times after that, but I didn't answer.  They called a total of 7 times in a period of 3 minutes.

Received a call from this unknown number and (of course) didn't answer it.  I don't have Verizon anything because they lied to us when we moved about a service we requested that was not available (and they should have known that at the time the request was made.

Got a call from this number stating it was sprint and the my account has been flagged and I need to enter my account pin number.  Hung up as I don't even have sprint!!

Asked for Sprint Password and account #. Gave them a bunch of numbers and they told me my account was unlocked and I could hang up.

They have just called my cell phone. I picked up and a recording said that there was an alert on my Sprint account and to enter my account pin #. Did not do anything. Then he said to enter the billing zip code, and I did not do anything. The recording said: thank you, the alert has been removed....definitely a Scam. I do not have any Sprint account

Call was automated and indicated that my Sprint account had been deactivated.  Said I could reactivate by following the instructions, at which time I hung up.  And of course, I do not have a Sprint account.  BLOCKED!
