What on Earth is the value of National DoNotCall list.We are plagued continually with these nuisance calls. Someone needs to get thaeir act together as this "Protective List" is a total farce!

I just received a call too from Children's Cancer Recovery and they wanted me to give my donation over the phone then.  When I said that I would not give a donation unless I received something in the mail, the lady sounded frustrated and said my address and said it would be in the mail and hang up.  No thank you for your donation like I normally get.

Same thing happened to me.  The person won't say which charity they are calling on behalf and they get rude when you tell them not to call anymore.  When I redialed the number it was for Premier Bank Card Services.

I received a call from this number today and they wanted me to enter my credit card number!!!!  Premier Bank...I don't have a card with that Bank.  This number is also used for Childrens Cancers, American Heart ASSociation, etc.  Please stop the harrassment!!

I also was not answering these calls until I had enough. Last night, I called the number back and received an automated system. The only number I punched was "1' to hear English. Then I waited for a real person. I told this girl that I no longer wanted their calls. She needed some identifying numbers to remove me from the list. It's time to take control of our phones, don't be embarrassed and talk back. I was nasty and it felt good.

Today, I received a call from the same number oh I was ready this time. I told this new woman I had done research on their number and found out they were a scam. She started in on the cancer support and I just kept on talking over her like they do us and said all they wanted was my debit number. She tried to talk I kept on talking and eventually she said, "I'm going to remove you from our list, we don't want your money!" I shouted, "THANK YOU!"

Write down what you want to say. Ask them to buy something you sell. You surely have something you need money for. If you have enough time, call them back just to irritate some poor girl.

I have gotten several calls from this number over the past few days.  When I called the number the automated answer ask for my account number or Social Security number.  I pressed zero several times and was transferred to a live person.  I explained that I had more than 10 calls from this number on my Caller ID and that I wanted to know why they were calling me.

She ask for my phone number which I gave her.  She checked her database
and could not find an account linked to my phone number so she spoke with a supervisor.  They could not find a Premier account linked to my phone number either.  The operator came back on the line to ask if I  or anyone I knew had a credit card with Premier.  No, I do not.  She asked if  anyone might have used my phone to call Premier. Who knows but I doubt it.

I ask what they were selling and she told me they do not sell anything, that they would only be calling about an account with Premier.  I guess they would be trying to collect or something.

She suggested I answer the next call and take it from there when I told her I am on the Do Not Call list.

If this helps anyone else I am glad I called them back.  I still have no idea why they are calling my number.  This number has been my number for 60 years, dating back to when phone numbers had only four digits.   Strange, Isn't it?

Just answered a call from 866-896-1811.  Caller asked for someone by name who passed away more than a year ago.  Said he was with a Children's Cancer Fund.  This is really strange because I called this number less than 30 minutes ago and reached Premier Bankcard.

Which is it, Premier Bankcard or Children's Cancer Fund?

Associated Community Services is NOT a charity!!!  They are NOT a 503(c) not-for-profit organization.  They are a COMMERCIAL fundraiser for charities.  And they do give your money to charities, but they actually keep MOST of it for themselves.  In the State of Washington, ACS pockets 60% of the money that you donate.  So when you think that you are giving $20 to Breast Cancer, well you aren't really.  You are giving $8 to Breast Cancer, and $12 to ACS.  THEY are stealing money from the charities that they represent by not informing you of their intentions!

they keep calling our house.  We came here to look it up and so it looks like another scammer.  Funny how we are getting more and more since going on the do not call list

Calls after 9PM all week. They identify themselves as Children's Cancer Research. The caller hung up on me when I told her I wanted more info. Obviously, irony dictates that they are all horribly crippled with some sort of cancer that causes their dialing fingers to drop off.

They have been calling and calling but only asking for my wife by name. When I try to ask them who is calling i Get "Childrens Cancer Research" some of the time, other times I get "One of her charities". This last time the guy just hung up, which pissed me off so I hit caller ID and dialed the number. I got a not in service message!!! wtf?? Who are these scamming [***] and how can we block their calls.

this call is from a telemarketing company,  AC services  that collects donations from a large number of companies.  Makes you not want to donate when you get 15 calls a day for more  money.

This rude woman calling herself Amanda called from this number claiming to be a "courtesy call" from one of his charities.  Then, when I tried to ask "what charity?" she hung up on me.  When I try to redial the number, it won't ring through "as dialed."  The company was not identified.

Well, they called again.  Children's Cancer Fund this time!  Called the _itch a liar and a cheat.  Does reporting these calls help at all?  Will they stop?
