jus got called from this #....the lady knew where i worked at my 2 jobs, she said she was confirming if i still worked there. However, she never asked for my social

I haven't worked since before my support order was put into effect by the judge. I received a call from this number this morning, the woman did not ask any person information besides my name at the start of the call. She seemed very knowledgeable about my case, disability as my sole source of income, and my two unpublished mailing addresses.

This number must have changed because I am being told it is Pioneer credit recovery! Which is for my student loans. +1 (866) 901-1412. This is not Child support this is an actual number.

This is a legitimate number for Child Support.  I have an active case.

Years ago, I got a letter from Child Support regarding my child.  I had no children at the time.  I called them & it turned out, they sent a letter to everyone in California that had my name & they were narrowing down the "real" parent.  I worked for the local Child Support office, so my boss told me to take this seriously.  I had to fax a copy of my drivers license & social security card to them to verify that I wasn't the person they were looking for.  I never heard back on that again.

I just gota call from 18669013212 on Veterans Day about child support. Wow I call on Monday to my local Child support. Office wow. Its a scam. Check first before you give any one. You social. I research this number and it gives you warning on the google that its a scam alert.

I've received numerous calls from this # but today was first voicemail.  Said CA child support services and looking for someone I don't know.  Curious that they would call me when me, my phone number and my kids are in Tennessee! Tried calling back to tell them to stop calling (at least 1 call per day from them for weeks) and can't get thru to a human unless you enter a SSN which I'm not going to do just to get to a live person.  Next time they call I will answer and tell them they have a wrong #!!!!

They call 4 - 5 times a day. I have told them to stop. I don't know them, I.dont owe them money Go away!!

Received this on my business email this morning - a local government office no less. Friggin scammers. Talk about bad grammar! I really hope there is a special place in hell for these [***].

Don't call then back!  Maybe they got lucky to get someone who actually might owe child support, but it's a scam.  NEVER offer up your identifying information, such as address, full name, social security number, etc, to someone who called you.  Only when you call them and you know you are talking to the correct person, then you might want to do that if it's legit.  Instead, if you think it's a problem, contact the court, not these scammers!  Never call them back!!

Your advice to that person is clearly 8 years too late.

I get calls from this number pretty regularly, as far as scam calls go. It usually claims to be Social Security, but I believe they may have claimed IRS before as well. (too many to keep track). A few tells that it is a scam: 1) the message starts playing the moment the phone picks up, so my vm only gets part of it 2) they ask me to call a federal agent back and will ask for SS# when you do 3) I keep on top of my taxes, credit, and SS# activity and know nothing is amiss. They have called 3 times in the last 24 hours!

CID says...Unknown.  Called my cell phone and left no message.  Had a call on our house phone not long ago using a number just one digit off. Caller had a very heavy foreign accent with boiler room background noise claiming to be IRS at first. Then claimed to be another lettered agency we have never heard of demanding money. I had fun playing the game that made the caller furious before he hung up.

received a call from an unknown number for child support verified the name as Ms. Piggme. After asking questions she got very upset with me since I didn't want to share info. I ask for the number gave a 8669013212. said was child support service. not sure if they have all my info
