This number called twice today and did not leave a message.

I got a call from this number today, I answered and they hung up on me

Received two calls from this phone number so far on my cell# today, but no VM has been left?

I received a call from this number and it went to voice mail.  The VM basically said "this is an attempt to collect a debt and we need a statment from you.  If you fail to provide a statement one will be provided for you.  Call us back at the number to discuss the matter."  I called back to see what the heck and a gentleman named Mechelle(sp) answered and said he was with ACS Legal  - couldn't find me in the system and that it may be that someone listed me as a referenced.  Google ACS Legal and its some kind of a scam.  

I received a third call today on my cell# from this phone number; they finally left a VM stating the same thing as you did.  They did not reference a company name or person to contact- just a so-called account#.  I am not returning the call; I will report this phone number to the FTC and my Attorney General's office.  I am not going to be threatened by anyone.  This so called ACS has called from many different other phone numbers and area codes.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Same BS, different day. They called me twice within a minute with the same dumb message. I will also to continue to report the numbers to the FTC.

I have tried to get them to delete my pohne number out of the system, They call me almost every week for the past 6 months trying to collect a debt owed by some name. They say they are going to have my number omitted, but never do. How can I get them to stop calling me?

All you can do is block their phone number; call your carrier to do that as they will never delete your phone number; they will just keep harassing you now that you responded to them until you get so tired of them that they talk you into paying for something that you don't owe-SCAMMERS.  Sick and tired of them..........

Now this phone number called a relative of mine's landline yesterday whom I don't even live with; what harassment!  I want this to stop........  I will just report another complaint to the FTC under my relatives's name as I have already sumbitted one under my name.  The more people that complain; the more likely that they can do something about these scam debt collectors.

yes I get the same daily!  they wont stop and they are scammers or operating illegally they are usually picking up debt that is known as zombie debt and fool people into thinkin that it is still due to pay

They have called 6 times in last two days but still have not left a message.  Tired of the scammers.

Next time you changes your cell number, DO NOT set-up voice mail.
With no place to leave a message, they can't leave one.
You can see who is calling you, if you don't know who it is, don't answer it.

A relative is still receiving phone calls from this phone number via a landline; they have been calling all month long; several times a week at different times of the day and evening; no VM are left.  I have my cell# blocked for this phone #.  How do you get them to stop calling a relative that you don't live with?  This is illegal.  I am tired of it.  I guess that I will report my relative's phone number to the FTC along with the Attorney General in my state.

This phone number IS A SCAM NUMBER. They have been calling for over a year and call about once a week.

Some people with foreign accents keep calling, threatening me to pay a bill I don't owe. Then some man left a message stating," B**** I want my F****** money. SEND me my F****** money NOW B****!!!!" What can I do about this type of messqage being left?

Are you serious???? They left a message like THAT! OMG. Report them, report them, report them!!! How DARE they leave something like that on your answering machine. They are bottom feeders trying to collect on old pay day loans. SCUMBAGS!!!!

Someone from this number called and left a message for me stating I owedh money, then when I called it was for my brother. They give  all personal information. I will go to the State Attorney General. They should not be calling family members nor should they give out personal info
