Yes, I get the same exact calls, over and over and over again!!!! They are a collection scam trying to collect on old pay day loans and phantom debts. Blow then off! They are dirt bags!!

unfortunately this number cannot be added to the do not call list because is a scam number.  ACS legal is ILLEGAL.  DONT CALL BACK OR THEY WILL NEVER STOP.  IGNORE, IGNORE

They are a scam company. I took out a loan with Hydra Financial. Paid it in full with one collection company. Then this company calls, threatens to arrest me unless I pay $595. They got me hook, line, & sinker. I paid them 1/2 of what they told me was owed, over the phone. They sent me an offer letter via e-mail, but didn't realize until after the fact that there was no mailing address for them. Go to the Better Business website & check them out.   www.bbb.com

My son (who is a minor) is getting repeated calls from these people.  He doesn't answer, so they leave voice mails saying basically the same thing that others like Helena Anderson reported (Jan 24, 2014).  Claim they're looking for someone named Julie A. Ehle (sp? pronounced "Eelee"; guessing it's spelled like the actress Jennifer Ehle, whose name is pronounced the same way), account #1796797.  Often it's a robocall message, but sometimes a lady identifying herself as "Tonya Sams" asks for a call back, but changes callback numbers:  866-907-7393; 866-907-7295 so far.  Robocall message says to call 866-901-3328. They never identify the company name. I'm going to report them to every legal entity I can (FTC, State Attorney General, etc)! We aren't calling back, since so many are reporting this as a scam and that they don't stop calling even when you ask them to.

im tried of these people call my phone saying that i owe them money.this is harassment,an how do i get them to stop calling.

Filed a complaint with the States Attorney's Office (Maryland). Told me that they couldn't do anything because in order to send them a cease and desist letter or call and demand to stop calling, there is no mailing address. Plus since they move all of the time and change their #'s often, they couldn't do anything. She just suggested to keep telling them they have been reported to the State and either not take the call or hang up on them.

ACS are definately scammers. They call from other #'s too. They are not a member of Better Business Bureau and they are not liscenced at all. Please dont give these people any money. They wouldnt mail me a statement, they wouldnt accept moneyorder or give me their address, they wanted me to pay with my debit card or a pre paid credit card. Scam, Scam, Scam!!!!

A company like this harassed me for about 3 months. I contacted the BBB, FTC, attorney general, and FBI Internet Crimes. In the end I was only told there was nothing they could or would do because the people calling are most likely in another country like India or Nigeria using something like google voice and they can't trace it back. Even though though these people threatened to kill me and my family there was nothing they could do. Told me it was a scam. They even had ways to disguise their numbers as others. A few of the numbers I called back would be police departments or attorneys offices who had no idea what I was talking about. The guy calling me accidentally called me without disguising his number and I called him back to back for 2 hrs without saying anything when he answered. Finally after multiple threats he said quit f****** calling me! I said no you quit f****** calling me. That was the last phone call. They almost cost me my job because they had our phone lines tied up to where we couldn't make incoming or outgoing calls. Very crazy.

Unfortunately   ,    866    area   codes   are   toll    free   and    toll   free   phone    #'s   cant   be    blocked .
They    are     D O U C H E    BAGS   and   swine .

The  automated   machine   calls   you   by   your   real   name   and   they   say   this   is   a   legal   matter   and  you   need   to   call   them   back    immediately   and   if   you   dont   call   them   back   ,   they   will    sue  you   and   arrest   you .
BIG   time    SCAM    Artists .
Its   a   scare   tactic .

NO  legitimate   lawyer  will   call   you   and   say   you   owe   them   money   or    else    you   will   be    arrested .
If  there  is   no    warrant   for   your   arrest   ,   nobody   can   arrest    you ,   not   even   cops .
Also   ,   there   are    NO   debtors   prisons    in   the    USA .

They  are  LIARS  and  SCAMMERS  ....

The phone company only allows 6 blocked calls per landline phone .
With  MILLIONS of  scammers  in the world , how are we suppose to block them all ?
Also , my landline phone number is unlisted  ,  so how do these scammers get my phone number  ?
FYI  ,   Believe  it  or  not  ,  I  am  one  of  the  few  American's  who  does  not  have  ANY  debt .
So  ,  these  annoying  A**  HOLES  need  to  go  vent  somewhere  else  ,  because  they  are  barking  up  the  wrong  tree.
I  will  sue  them  for  MILLIONS  and  call  the  FBI  and  FTC  on  these  idiots .
If  they  threaten  to  put  you  in  jail ,  they  cant  come  to  your  house  ,  even  if  they  wanted  to ,  only  a  policeman  can  and  only   if  there  is  a  warrant  out  for  your  arrest .

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Google your name and also your phone number. Anyplace like Spokeo that shows up, make them remove the information.  Most of the scammers and illegal telemarketers  just use dialers which they just plumb numbers into, but in these cases, this info can come from online, and even hacked information if you filled anything out online.  If you have facebook, make sure your account is set to private. I've even seen places come up that not only show your personal info, but also list "May be related to" and relatives names.

I  was   receiving  a   call   once   a   day  from   ACS   Legal     for   months   ,   but    I    would   never    answer   it .
I   haven't   received   a   phone   call    from    them    since    March   17  ,  2014  ,    here   it   is  
April    9   ,   2014 .
So   ,    I    think    the    FTC  and  /  or   attorney    general's    have   finally   caught    up    with    these  crooks    and   shut    their    company     down    and    have   arrested   them.
If   anybody    has    any    information   about    this   and   can    verify   and   firm   it    up   that    this   indeed  a    fact   ,    please   post   it .

Oh they still call. Give them time, they'll be back. They call my phone 2-3 times a day with this number, and 2-3 times coming up as private. On a positive note they haven't called my HR Manager in 2 weeks.

That   would   not    be    a    good    idea   if    they   start   calling    back    because    I    will    fix    their   wagon

This number has called my cell phone twice today.  They hung up as soon as I answered.  Whoever it is, their number has now been blocked on my phone.
