    i read above it is a survey for cibc to assess the recent transaction online......but could it also be bell aliant...?? but most calls to companies or institutes are recorded for just that reason to assess each call and issue discussed and answered.   I really dont think that cibc would be assessing employee performance by bothering clients....like that.......unless they might be new clients....yes ...but my call showed no name ...caller id unknown....i dont answer those unless the number is familiar....could it be another way scammers get u to answer...using the 866 or 800 numbers?? no this person didnt leave a message.

    Saturday, June 11th-2016 - Received call at 4:47PM. Rang 3 times, no one on the line. I have now added this number to my CALL BLOCKER LIST!

    Called me today, said to be from CIBC to make a survey about my recent contact with the bank about a blocked transaction - which happens to be true. I would like to believe it was a real survey about my customer service experience since they were aware I had made a call to the bank about this matter a few days earlier.

    Called me couple minutes ago, was on the matter of calling CIBC couple days ago on one service which was appeared to be true. Got my name right, and did not ask anything else except the survey matters. I would say I treat this number as a trusted number. If anything goes wrong I would update this.

    Did not answer the call.  Called back and a recording answered, "I'm sorry we missed you.  We're calling about the upcoming election."  I  blocked them!

    This is a third party (Greenwich Assoc?) customer satisfaction survey, paid for by the bank. They use an autodialler, to make best use of their staff's time. If you don't want them calling, advise your bank you wish to opt out of satisfaction surveys.
