- Han G Thesobs| 13 repliesactually- they sell a BROKERAGE buy-sell services for $6000. That's to get you "IN" their service. Then you ante up $2500 minimum to trade...THRU another broker.
This guy/Co tells the broker what to do. Very persistant. - Captain replies to Han G Thesobs| 3 repliesYes, they offer a trading system that shoots automatic trades to a broker they refer you to.
They claim an amazing 72% accuracy (winning percentage). They claim to have a maximum loss of $400 per trade. they have trading results over a couple of years. But these are NOT ACTUAL results.
Many of the trades are ADMITTEDLY from BACKTESTING. Also, the non-backtested trades came from the system and do not include slippage or commissions. Again, they admitted this. But it was like pulling teeth a bit. They were obscuring this fact a bit in my opinion.
The offer is for $1,000 off their $7,000 trading system, bringing the price to $6,000... And this is a LIMITED TIME OFFER (PRESSURE).
I told the guy I would NOT order tonight, NO MATTER WHAT. I would need a day or two to review everything. He was persistent. He promised to show me all of the company information, etc. etc. etc.
But when I confirmed I would have to ALSO DO MY RESEARCH, and would not order, he didn't bother taking me to the PROOF that their company is not another Madoff in the making.
On a side note. THIS COULD BE A GREAT SYSTEM. here is the FLAW.
1) If you can make 1,000/month on 2,500 in the account.
2) You are SO CONFIDENT with this, that you OFFER a 7 Month PROFIT
guarantee
3) You went out and wrote the software to make it work.
Then, considering the costs of the people who are TELEMARKETING this system, you have to wonder. Why NOT just use the system yourself???
Honestly. I talked to 2 people, working late (9PM EST). They claim to have 20 people in the company. Lets assume:
4 People, making 40,000/yr = 160,000/yr
This would be 13,000/month.
Put TWO months in the brokerage account for 26,000
Make the trades (Perfectly scalable using E-Mini)... And you should
get 10,000/month...
Run it since the original post. You would have 80,000 in profits.
Take out your original money. Let the bank money run. Even take
a bit more. Bump yourself to 50,000 and you would be at 20,000/month.
Honestly, it seems like MUCH BETTER MONEY this way than selling
something in THIS ECONOMY :-) - Ken Ingram replies to CaptainDid they say they weren't trading it themselves though?? I would think that someone selling something they believe in, they would be using it also..but selling a product is what all businesses do right?? I would think all developers use their own technology and then license it out..Chuck Hughes, Jake Bernstein, Russell Sands..they all sell systems so I would think they all practice what they preach..or I would hope
- k pulliam replies to Han G ThesobsI had a similar call the last 2 nights from Luxman trading systemz. Hard core twist your arm sales. If its so good why not use it your self and if its so good you shouldnt have to sell it like a "used car salesman or insurance salesman. NOT IMPRESSED. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT USUALLY IS!!!!!
- Sammy| 1 replyI also got a call from Richard Andrews. Very persistant. I did however ask him about gaurantee on the per contract cost off $2500. Not a good answer. I did also ask him if it is so good, why isn't everyone doing it and why I haven't heard of them before.
I took the chance myself to do my own brokering online with a online broker and with my small investment today I made $880. I figure with aprox 16.1 days a month x $880= $14,168.00.- Caller: Luxman
- Henry Singleton replies to Han G ThesobsI have been a client of Luxman Trading for the last 8 months and I am content with the returns I am getting. I was skeptical at first but went ahead and made the move based on the guarantee that comes with the system, and they have exceeded that figures they explained to me in August. The system is the real deal and i have since invested in 2 more contracts last week. Dont be so down on these guys, it is annoying getting called in the middle of work but they are performing as the explained.
- amdg replies to SammyI got a call today from them. The entries above confirm that this company's MO is the same with everyone. Stay away from them. Take care.
- joe the investor replies to Han G Thesobs| 4 repliesI succumbed to these guys high pressure selling techniques back in June 2008. Put up my $6000 - because hey after all it was guaranteed. Every month lost money until the account was too low to trade. So I waited for the guarantee to kick in. The contract stated it was automatic with the system I traded (later systems made you request the refund). So not wanting to take a chance: TWO certified letters were sent one after the 6th month and one after the 7th month - followed by several phone calls all to request the refund. Each time I called them they said they were processing the refund and I should receive it soon.
I filed a complaint with the BBB (since they use their unblemished record with them as one of their selling arguments). They responded to it stating that the refund will be sent in a few days. A few weeks went by and still nothing. Its been almost five months since my initial request for refund and nothing. These guys are a scam, don't be taken. - burny replies to joe the investorHey I finally got my money..
here's what to do ..
did you pay w/ your credit card..?
If so tell them you will do a credit card charge back..
The card company will honor the garrantee and get you your money back.
That scarse them to death
And you want the money ASAP..I got my check fed ex ..and cleared..
WHOA.. - KmI've told these clowns that I have no interest in their product and not to call me. That was about six calls ago. Why are they wasting their time? Will I give in if they keep calling and disturbing me?
What i recommend to all of you is what I'm going to do, starting tomorrow.
Every time they phone me, I will call their number 50 times throughout the day, disturbing THEM, tying up THEIR line, and letting THEM pay for the call. When you're home, working or just relaxing, have the phone by your side and press redial. You don't even have to listen..just hang up every minute or so. 1-866-924-3617- Caller: LUXMAN TRADING

- nichfinder| 4 repliesI got sucked into this scam... Does anyone know who the oversight agency is from whom they get a license to trade...NFA or CFCT...who?
- SJMLuxman Trading call: A breathless trained liar from the start. Too bad our business system allows scamming.
- Caller: Luxman Trading
- burglar| 1 replyI also got scammed by Richard Andrews, after 6 months of loss no refund. James Kennedy said that first month did not count, now 8 months later no refund. My complaint to the better business bureau was but 1 of many and Luxman said that I refused to talk to their representative.

- justin replies to burglarI had traded the Nevis system and also suffered immeadiate losses and am trying to get my refund for almost 4 months and still no luck. I have called and emailed countless times. Thinking of getting an attorney to send a demand letter for the refund since its free under my Hyatt legal plan.
I will also tell them I'm going to do a credit card charge back like the other other person mentioned. I have speaking to James Kennedy mostly who rarely returns calls. - Another one replies to CaptainThanks for the great thoughts. The math actually works out to $133,000 per month, so you only need to take one week of expenses and invest it to be on the road to the advertised riches.
I have been getting the calls this week and last. They do sell hard and well and I have no doubt they are successful at getting people committed.
The SEC has a great website on how to protect yourself from scammers at http://www.sec.gov/. See the Check out Brokers portion.
Luxman's "key designer" actually hung up on me today, when I asked them why they did not recognize the name of a Dow Jones company.... He had claimed to have 30 years experience in the investment world but did not recognize a key name. Red Flag! I don;t think they will call back, but judging from other entries, I could be wrong.
Also, they are not a broker - as per the SEC site search. Neither are any of the folks on the phone. The investment industry has some pretty tough rules on who can represent what to you over the phone. - Frustrated| 6 repliesI traded the Alpha S&P Mini System after being pressured into the system with the guarantee of all my money back if there is no gross profit after 6 months and being guided around the internet proving that the company has a prestine business record with no consumer complaints. Now almost 1 year later, after thousands in losses, many phone calls and no refund as requested I am mad. James Kennedy, as has been as stated above is just blowing smoke. Stay away from this company. Run.
If any one has sucess collecitng their money back let me know how. - cynical45 replies to Frustrated| 1 replyFrustrated, What broker were they placing trades through? I recently got a call from Andrews. This system sounds good. He said that all the trades were actually traded in the market with either client accounts or investor accounts. I would want to talk to the actual broker that holds the account. What do they say about Luxman and the various systems they sell?
- Burglar replies to joe the investor| 2 repliesYou and I are not the only ones waiting for a refund, LTC is in breach of their contract. We need to locate all who deserve a refund and file a joint law suit
- Burglar replies to nichfinder| 3 repliesBy not sending the refund as stated they are in breach of their contract, let us find all those people and file a joint law suit
- Burglar replies to cynical45One brokerage firm is Foremost Trading 888/818-0880, they seem nice enough but they do NOT seem to have any control over Luxman. When I called Foremost to complain that I have not heard from James Kennedy he then called but still no refund.
