- Foodie6My poor Dad has received these calls looking for me. This a house I have never lived in. I left home over 20 years ago, and this is a home I have never lived in. I also have since married and divorced and never went back to my maiden name!! He was concerned and gave me the info. I told him to look at this site, to make him feel better that YES this is a SCAM. No one should answer the phone for these fools.
- MadI received phone call today from a legal paper server company referring me to the 866-936-0379 phone number. All the people that have already identified this phone number are correct. They are very aggressive and try to get payment information without proving you actually owe this debt. The debt they were seeking payment from was my ex-husbands debt. Do not give them any money. Very rude demeaning people.

- kmern| 3 repliesI received a call from my director that this company attempted
To serve me papers at my job.- Caller: b g & m
- The truth replies to kmernYou're a liar and a shill. They would never serve anything because they have no legal right to do so on the zombie debts they buy for pennies on the dollar because they're not legally enforceable.
- Tyrann replies to kmernNo they didn't. You received a call from the director of your job to come onto this boards to post lies.
- lone stranger replies to kmernBy papers, I assume you mean the "strong but gentle" kind that come on a roll with a cardboard tube in the middle?
And by job, I assume you mean, well, you know...
And after all that, you're still completely full of it?
When will the pathetic liars of the world figure out that this site is the worst place on the planet for them to post? - Fed up replies to GunnarThese people started calling me in the spring. At first I almost had a panic attack... But then I realized all that you said above. Mainly, I NEVER received anything in the mail from ANY law office. Also, my local courthouse has a website and there are NO pending/recently filed cases against me. And I think the lawsuit has to be filed before they can deliver any papers. The calls stopped but I just got one an hour ago. Funny, because they said this would be the third and final attempt to deliver papers. Funny, because 1) Third attempt but this is the 4th time they've called; 2) They are calling my Dad and there's no identifying info on his VM. It's actually the generic message. 3) They listed my business address... Which is a PO Box so good luck with that.
And as a PS I did some research when all this started and I found out BMG or BM & G or whatever they call themselves deals with payday loans. I'm a business owner so I don't get an actual paycheck, so I'd like to hear how I managed to take out a payday loan.
I just wanted to share my experience with this headache and hope I can help someone from freaking out if they start to,get these calls! - Robyn replies to MotI got a call from my husband telling me that this company has called his Ex for 8 yrs looking for mr continued to give her the reference number and a phone number where they can be reached. I called them back today and told them who is going to be the first person to get an attorney myself or your company. You have broke customer confindalety and you are going to be sorry y'all called me.
- not the one| 1 reply"Stacey White" with National Document Servers let a message at my place of employment stating that I would be served at my job if I didn't respond. Sooo, I gave in and called to ask them not to call my place of employment. First I spoke w/Jose Gonzales and gave him the "case number" that was provided. He told me that they are calling about a Chase Card Services debt, I asked if they would send me something verifying the debt (which is my legal right). He refused and said something was sent in Oct. (of what year? I'm not sure), I then informed him that I would not send any money to any agency without something in writing. I politely asked 3x that they NOT contact my job. He said I was being sued and that I would be served tomorrow and he would see me in civil court. Fine. I called the FTC, they told me to get an address and license number for the company & that any debt collector CAN NOT threaten legal action. When I called back and spoke with Mr. Gonzales he put me on a long hold when I asked for the license number, so I hung up and called back someone else answered and put me on a long hold again. Long story short, I could not verify any debt or even if this company is legit. Will I get served tomorrow? I don't know, but it's not probable. Their scare tactics will not work on me.
P.S. The address I was given is:

- gharr replies to not the oneThis exact thing happened to me yesterday. The new number for bgm is 877-512-3301. Jose told me I was being sued for a outstanding debt. I was denied any options for proof of debt and told my summons would tell me everything. A second call sent me to the "litigation"department where a woman named Tara told me I was being sued for a debt in 2008. These people called my employer, in laws threatening to take legal action against. Its a very intrusive scam. This is the number to a consumer credit attorney who wants to sue this company. 978-212-3301 the attorneys name is Scott, their services are free.

- Good LuckThey are still at it. They called my mom today and (why do they pick on the elderly) she was in a panic over the call. Mine is an old disputed 2008 debt with (I hate them) Wells Fargo. They bought my information and the debt from (I hate them) Wells Fargo. Since Wells Fargo wrote off the debt, these headhunters are trying to cover the cost of the debt they purchased. Now lets just say, my debt was 500.00; they probably purchased the debt for pennies on the dollar, so lets just say $50.00. Now their boss wants his money back for purchasing this bad debt plus 3 times more by saying the debt is 1500.00. Truly a scam.
And it was like pulling teeth trying to get "their" information i.e. address names debt information. Their representative kept hanging up on me, Ha! and I kept calling back! Little payback ;)
If a person, such as myself, really wanted to pay the disputed debt, I could just go to the Wells Fargo on the corner and they would be happy to take my money.
If I did pay Wells Fargo, BGM would still be contacting me because they "bought" it.
Also people, please remember...there is NO such thing as Debtors Jail.- Caller: BGM Financial Services
