To all those concerned:  Please file your complaint against this company at the following address:  State of New York,  Office of Attorney General, The Capitol, Consumer Frauds & Protection Bureau, Albany, NY  12224-0341.  They are very familiar with this company and its fraudulent activities.  It might take them awhile to review your case, but they will get ball rolling.  Over 90% of chimney scams are out of NY. You are absolutely correct Maeve is just as disgusting as John is! We have a name for people like that we call them LOW RENT-WHITE TRASH & that's exactly what they are!!!! Get a class action law suit and go to the city and the names of owners of chimney company's are chuckie, Gustave schotker, lawerence Stuart , etc they are all in on scams they give their guys a percentage that is why they aim so high to get more money for themselves and then the rest goes to the boss who sits in the office cold calling with a bunch of telemarketers. They even have dialer machines. Just say no I'm okay and also take this to the city where you were having the work done and go to the ada

I just missed a call from the district attorney's office about this.  I put in the complaint to the BBB and consumer affairs a year and a half ago.  Hopefully its good news when I call him back.

Got all of our money back.  Took two years exactly but we got every cent back.  We filed a report with dist atty back in March 2013.  Hope everyone who was scammed gets their money back.  Good luck
