Saying there going to garnish my wages, also they called a relative of mines and said they were one of my contact number.. very UN true... think they just randomly got lucky using my last name.

Debt collectors for pay day loan said back n 2006,you owe  500,we will take 225.. You got the wrong person.then they start arguing.so I said keep working for nothing!!

repeated calls to my work phone number with threats for a lawsuit.  called back and "Angela" answered - I said to stop calling, I know this is a scam - Angela replied that I was the scam.

this is America - where is the FCC; FBI; Homeland Security or any other federal communication branch going to stop this nonsense?  totally illegal.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of the date of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I received calls from them every day for about 2 weeks informing me I would be served at my home/office if I didn't call back by the end of day....

Well, I guess the notices are being delivered by courier pigeon or pony express because here we are, 3 weeks later and no notice... I've actually called back inquiring, telling them that I've been waiting patiently to be served so I can forward the info to my attorney and my local authorities, and to have their 'server' notify me when they are coming to serve me so I can have law enforcement waiting with me when they arrive... only to be hung up on multiple times.

I actually had a young lady threaten ME with harrassment charges if I continued to call the business with threats! LOL!!

I've been getting robocalls from this and several other numbers with messages for Patricia Lattimoore (sp). I just hang up mid-spiel. Sometimes the message is for Patricia Lattimoore to return the call to settle a matter within the next 24 hours. That's been going on for at least six months. Each time, I block the number on my cell but the numbers still show up - the phone just hangs up on them. New phone numbers for the same crowd at least once or twice a week. Complaints to DNC are worthless and a waste of time. I didn't list a call type because for some reason this site doesn't list "scam" ???

Just received call saying there was a financial complaint against my phone number and demanding I call right away. Creepy female voice...sounded like the voice from TV show.

I am receiving phone calls/voice mails from a woman stating her name is Maria and she is a representative of JCPH Equity (P# 678-6697-7803).  Maria claims to aggressively collect all debts due JCPH, she states she is authorized to use any and all means necessary for her to perform her collection duties.  She says that she is authorized to work with individuals by doing anything to collect from properties, cars, bank accounts, stocks, etc.  Oh and her last words were wishing me good luck...  This is an obvious scam, I sought out background information on JCPH.  Additionally I have no debt nor have I ever done any business with the organization she claims to work for.  Further more, my phone number is on the NATIONAL "DO NOT CALL" Registry.  This is not the first time I have received voice mail from this individual.  I want my name and number removed from any listing.  Maria/JCPH is to consider this my one and only requirement for notification of  the "DO NOT CALL".  You are instructed to stop/cease all communications to my phone number immediately.  If I receive any more calls/voice mails, I will use any and/all tools available to me pursuing prosecution of Maria/JCPH.  Shame on you... how many vulnerable people are ripping off.  Shame...

I received a weird call from this number advised I have a law suit need to call a john Colby back at 866-961-9021  no explanation or what is was regarding,never have called back was kinda strange message-

Have never answered any of their calls. After 1st call and they didn't leave a message, I blocked not just the number but the entire area code. Any caller that doesn't leave me a legit message that is ACTUALLY for ME, I simply block all future calls... Calls don't even ring through... keep trying morons

Another ROBO call from another relentless age old scamming crimes @$$H0LE. These chumps are convicts and small time at that too. John Colby (and we ALL KNOW) is a factious name or stolen name from a dead person (YES THAT HAPPENS!!) Well, block the call like a thousand others, and report to FTC. If they got the BA11S to call you live, give them the business and pass the phone around your office or to your friends. They go GREAT with a beer blast!  Peace my brothers and sisters.

Had that happen to me too and I blasted my relative for being naive enough to admit you were my family. Now they WON'T leave you alone and you will have to change your number. It is also illegal to discuss PRIVATE info medical or finance with a 3rd party. That right there tips the hand of the scammer. I get them furious; I ask for and demand a 'subpoena'. They can't send one cause it's NOT REAL! They cuss and hang up. (I got that one from a lawyer!) :-)

My sister inlaw was contacted by jcph 1 1/2 years ago,telling her to pay on a debt or she would be arrested by midnight...Well,She paid what they were asking for...Now 1 1/2 years later there calling back & want the same amount of money for the same debut...There saying there is no record of her payment & she has no prof she ever paid it either.......I'm sure is a scam,there coming back for more,because they succeeded the first time...

First call using phone number 4157741017. Name of person was heather blakely who used att caller id. When told they were being block.  Caller again and left a voice mail that i was to call her back concering  a item that was returned. Have no debt and block number of i believe is a scammer.

Get your bank statement and any receipts where you paid off the loan...I don't think they can do a wage garnishment without going to court first...and they are a fraudulent company so they're not going to do that...don't sweat it...they're not going to do anything...
