Thomas Delaney claims to be owner, curses, represents this collection agency as a "litigation firm" and gave me someone else's FULL NAME, DOB, AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.

Violated Privacy laws, consumer credit laws by cursing and threatening me with litigation that is not going to happen, and still thinks me calling him and asking for company information is harassing him.

There are already 2 complaints filed against them, and the more the better.

I got a call from them today and they left a message from James Servola and he is a director the the claims and processing department from Retention and Accuision Recovery.  Said that I was attempting to serve notice to me in regards to case file# 8828088, naming me as a primary person of interest and this is my official notification of the process and if I wish to voluntarily resolve this matter to call 866-967-5818.  I called them, was put on hold and hung up on.  I called them back and spoke with another guy claiming to be James Servola's boss.  He tried to verify my social security number and when I told him that my attorney instructed me not to verify anything like that, the guy was said, in a very rude tone, "Good luck, we'll see you in court".

I received the same message today on my voice mail (automative voice) instructing me to call them back to work this out. I am so tired of receiving these calls. I wish there was some way to get them to stop.  I have put DO NOT CALL LIST on my phone but that doesn't stop them. I just want this to stop!!!!

Left message about a debt supposedly owed by our adult daughter (40 years old, lives in another state). Vague threats about "arresting" her. Ridiculous stuff. Caller was a James Servolo (sp). I returned his call. Got someone who said James was his assistant. I told him my husband wanted to leave a message for James: F**k off! Then I hung up on him. He tried to call back, but I just let it ring. Called our phone company and now have number blocked. I usually don't swear on the phone, but we've had these calls before, numerous times, and I am SICK TO DEATH of them! One guy called and was extremely verbally abusive. Told me we had done a poor job of raising our daughter, that she was a "dirty rotten lowdown crook," all sorts of nasty stuff. And you don't know right off that it's them when you answer the phone,  because they keep changing the number. Early on, I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, nothing. Called the Texas Attorney General's office, because at one time, the calls were coming from a Texas number. Very nice lady, told me they don't have much success locating these bottom feeders, because they use prepaid cell phones, fake addresses, alias names, and even use names of legitimate businesses to perpetrate their scams. Far as I can tell, not much you can do to truly stop the phone calls and threats, except get the number blocked...course, once they change the number, back to square one. They say they are coming to your home to collect the money, but no one ever shows up. I usually tell them to "come on out, my husband will be waiting with his best friend, ole Smith N Wesson!"
