    Annoyed
We received several calls a day from this number over the last week or so. When we answer, no one is there. I called the number and found out it is a Bell Canada number. The automated answering system correctly identified the number I was calling from and said that we are scheduled to have a technician install Bell Home Phone at our house next week!  That was a surprise becausecwe never requested Bell Home Phone installation. Interestingly we recently had Bell Fibe Internet installed about a week ago and these random calls began shortly after that.  I don’t think this is a coincidence. I have asked Bell to cancel any bookings they think they have and to take our phone number off their auto call list

Blank calls have been harrassing my elderly mother for months. After reading this thread I intercepted one and waited 30 secs for it to connect. Surprise it's Trytel calling for Bell. I told them to put on the internal do not call list and that we would never, ever ever deal with them or even talk to them, ever and they hung up. What jerks. Confirms my disgust with Bell. They were taking 86 a month from my mom for bad service. Just got Rogers for 30 a month instead. She was with Bell almost 50 years. Didn't their mommies tell them to let sleeping dogs lie?

They have called 9 times today. I called them back and they deny they have done this stating they have no record of these calls made. They refuse to acknowledge the problem.

Yup! BELL. I cancelled for the same reason. My package over time went from $112 to $122 in two years. Then last week I got a notification that I was charged $224 for January because my “credits ran out”. Apparently my contract ran out. Also they pulled my credit for absolutely no reason as I was purchasing my house last year. Which didn’t look good.
Ridiculous customer service. STAY AWAY FROM BELL.

I'm currently with Bell, but I bought an Ooma Telo and hooked it up on Monday. (4 bucks a month is better than 60 bucks for a home phone we rarely use). I paid the $39.99 to Ooma to port (keep) my current number. Yesterday I got an email from Ooma to say the paperwork had been sent to Bell, notifying them to port my number to Ooma. Today, this number has called 3 times, but I didn't pick up. I just checked the number here and if I was a betting man, I would have to say it's exactly what the other commenter are saying, it's Bell's loyalty dept. ready to drop the price to keep me as a customer. Too late!!

They called several time in a day, and it went silent or no answer.
The last time, they answered in the line and they are Bell, and they provided me a better deal for the internet service, when I am about to leave them.

It is a Sunday and this number, the Bell loyalty program, calls has been calling at least every half hour (sometimes the intervals are 20 minutes) since 9 a.m. They have been calling for the last several days. They lured me in 2017 with a decent deal on cable/internet/home phone for about $170 per month. Now I'm paying $330 a month, so my bills have almost doubled. I'm going back to Rogers. Rogers had problems, but I was a loyal customer for 20+ years and they never doubled the size of my bills like Bell.

If you already know to whom this number belongs, why are you here? Do you often look up known phone numbers?

Usually people post on this page to warn others. In most cases, I look at this page when I can't identify an 800 (or 888, 866, etc. etc.) number. But sometimes those of us who follow this page pay it forward by warning others about these numbers, which is what I'm doing above. Most of the time when I look on this page, I can't identify the number and I want to see who it belongs to. If that makes sense.

Also, when I first looked up this number on this page, I didn't actually know it belonged to Bell (I wasn't sure who it belonged to). Now that I know, I'm warning others.

I take it you've never heard of phone number spoofing? Just because it was Bell for one person doesn't mean it is for others.

SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.... This # called me 2 days in a row, first time no message, said "So happy to be able to speak directly with me", said from Bell Loyalty, but calling from another company. I've worked for Bell. THEY DO NOT OPERATE THIS WAY. Bell has it's own Loyalty Dept, & it is not out-sourced - I am a Legitimate former Bell Canada Employee! Had to ask Female caller what company name was 3 times, but she kept repeating same thing over & over, from a script. Told her, No I'm not happy with Bell, I don't have time for this right now as I'm dealing with legal & Police right now, & hung up. IT'S A HUGE SCAM!!! Do not give any personal information. Bell has it all in your account file. Unfortunately, there's Tons of Scam calls happening more & more frequently, & I Never give out information. There's also scam "Microsoft" calls coming from a different phone #,  just Hang up! It's all Phishing calls. Not legit at all. I called the phone number back, & YES, it is the Phone number for Bell Canada Loyalty Dept., BUT, they Do Not make Out-bound calls to customers, these Scammers encrypt the Legitimate phone number. I knew that it was a Fake Call. DO NOT EVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION, such as account number, Credit Card number, passwords, security codes, etc. Please Keep yourself safe. When in doubt, hang up & call back, to confirm if the call had been real or not... The're not. These companies do not call you... If you are dis-satisfied with any company services, it is YOU, the Customer, who must ask to speak to a Loyalty Dept., not them calling you.

My husband signed up for Bell a few weeks ago and listed my number as a secondary number. I have been getting calls at least twice a day. When I answer, they ask for my husband and then ask the best time to call him when I say he's not with me. How about when I'm not at work? Blocking.
