Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions. They we're just calling Bell internet users and offering them better pricing and better service with their new Fiber Optic network. It's an automated line, so if you wish to not be called, then call them back and tell them rather than [***] and moan.

Call received @ 11:00 a.m. on March 6, 2010. I recognized the number and picked up this time.

Call was from "Bell Loyalty". Asked if I was satisfied with level of service to which I answered "yes".Then asked if I was satisfied with the pricing and again I said "yes".

The caller mentioned the call would be recorded and that they would be monitoring my usage and ensuring that I would receive the best value package, etc.and then he tried to ask me a series of questions.

I responded that there was no need to record the call as I was satisfied with both the service and the pricing.

The caller was stumped and didn't know what to say so he hung up.

I receive calls from this number 5 days out of 6.  It is very ridiculous and aggravating.  I have never picked up.

Constant calling. I answered once and gave them the " * "
button treatment and the strong accented older female caller persisted in saying 'hello"!

Same thing just happened to me - 1-866-988-0885  She said she was calling on behalf of Trytel internet associated with Bell Internet and my promotional internet time period was almost up.  Contacted Bell and they said they have no association with them.  Glad I didn't give out any information I suppose!

I have this number call constantly, I called back today and told them to remove my number.  he looked into it and said that they're calling because of a promotion, and I said I get calls all day long every day and have told them repeatedly that I'm not interested in the promotion, so he said he will have our number removed and it will take 24-48 hours.
They also said it's been reported to someone higher up about all the calls where you pick up and theres not even anyone on the line.

So instead of complaining, just call them, and they can have your number removed.

The reason why no one answers the phone is because the calls are being dialed not by a person, but an automatic dialer, which is common equipment in a call center.  The automatic dialer calls several numbers at a time, or several hundred depending on how many employees are available, and the system can recognize a live voice from a recording.  When it reaches a live person it bounces the call to an agent waiting on an outbound call queue.  There's usually a few moments of delay between the system recognizing a live voice and a connection to a call center agent is made.  Hence the dead talk time.  I used to work in a call center and I'm very familiar with the functionality of the equipment.  If you don't answer they will not leave a message, and eventually the dialer will associate your phone to an unusable list of phone numbers.

Starts off modest. Spoof card at the payphones. Accidentally leaves a message by missing the beep for good measure. Montreal.

Uses recording devices to leave hacked messages, but her editing skill improves in time. Landlords. A call for Tony. University bound. Best Price Movers. Even using my American address to sign off on non-related debt.

Got help from a Texan. Progresses to a call center. Recruits friends. Despicable. But she moves, she moves.

Property is sold. But phone correspondence and all records are kept. Calls and messages recorded for good measure.

Modus operandi in the name of good times for this most despicable blotch of odious being. You must be so proud of yourself for recruiting your gym contacts to get my Visa number. That way regardless of card change you are good to go. Making all kinds of identity-theft calls. To think I sold half my contents at that time on your behalf. I should have blown that whistle long ago to register that outer beauty is only skin deep and what lies within from a vacuous chamber of inner rancidity is not above the law. I could go on and on.

I do very much regret the day I met you. Very much.

Will make lots of phone calls to see what's next because I got so much dirt on you and your willing accomplices that I can cultivate a field's worth.

Those emails provide for entertaining reads? You cross the line, harass or threaten my family or illegally invade my privacy again and it will become a police matter for you and yours. That's a -----ng promise. It may not be immediate, but there is a time and place for everything. And I will not forget the hell you tried to create in the name of fun should you persist.
