The guy gives his name as Richard Nelson from " Cash Awards Home Office".  I spoke to him at length.  He gave his address that came back to an Irish Resturant in Niagra Falls New York.  When I asked him what time he had, he gave me the wrong time for New York.  He said we won 2.5 million dollars and a BMW.  He demanded we take it!!!  Do not trust this guy at all.  He tried to get $350.02 from us.  Good Luck everyone!!!! No pun intended.

I got a call from this guy as well.  Also claiming to be Richard Nelson and saying I won two million dollars.  He was very insistent with me and began to get frustrated when I wouldnt give him my info.  He said he was located in Niagara Falls.  His number showed up as from Jamaica.  He also gave me a return number of 876-798-0549.  This guy has called me three times within a five minute time period.  Freaking me out!  HOW did he get my number!?!?!?

This guy has called me twice this week - giving the name of Mr. Reed. with a giveaway of 2.5 million dollars in cashier's checks and $70000 in cash. He is insistent and stipulates that it will take $175.00 to register the package.  When I told him not to call back, he said it would take $200.00 to get on the no call list.

Do not even entertain this man in conversation! Tell him you are calling your phone service carrier and reporting a federal crime of phone extortion!

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

Scammer said I won $850,000 plus 2014 BMW plus car insurance from Geico & a gas card & something about 4 changeable tires. Hard to understand what he was saying. I knew he was a scam when he first told me I was a winner then asked "how do you feel?" That's a stupid question. Plus this is third time I've had one of these calls. Never gotten to the end. I could hear kids in the background. I feel bad because I know someone out there falls for this. He asked me my next of kin!!!! I said why do you need that if you are delivering the prize today? He said just in case something happens. But I told him he didn't need that if I was getting the prize today. Nothing I gave him was true info. Line got bad connection & we got disconnected. I blocked him.

I received a call from 876-798-0549 this morning that I didn't answer at first. But when they immediately called back I answered thinking it might be an important call from one of my creditors. The voice was robotic and the accent was hard to decipher. He said his name was David Washington calling from Mega Millions Official House in Grand Junction, Colorado.  He said I won 2.5 million dollars, of which $850,00 would be cash in a brief case. He asked me to write down and repeat the information he had just given me: his name David Washington, Mega Millions, Grand Junction, $2.5 million etc. Then he asked me how do you feel? I told him I was in disbelief. Then I asked him if he knew who he was talking to. He said yes this is Mr (unintelligible). To that I replied "I'm sorry who do you think I am?" And he said Marcus. I replied "No. My name is not Marcus. Maybe you called the wrong number." Then he hung up.

Same thing. Claimed we won something then told my wife he wanted her. Creep!!!! I called police and FBI has a location to raid. :-)

glad I googled the number, this site came up. I've gotten 5 calls from this number in the last 4 min.
