- DC replies to chuck| 1 replyYes they keep harassing me. I called MPS Canada and they do not have an office in Florida. I can't get them to stop calling me. Any suggestions?
- DC replies to MelanieI did exactly as you did Melanie. They misled me and they aren't a company in Canada with an office in Florida. I never signed a thing. I'm not sure how to stop the daily calls and harassment.

- KatieI just got a call with them about a week ago. They told me I won a watch and a chance to win 25k and to buy magazines. I didn't think anythinf of it at the time and said nothing to hear what she had to say at first they said I could cancel at anytime. The girl proclaimed shw just started and she even called me by name. So thinking nothing by it, I started giving my bank statements. I was very much half asleep and didn't think anything by it. The girl also proclaimed that someone else was calling me back. Which they did. So they called me back this time a male that sounded like a carnie at a carnival that you see on tv. They charged me $56 afterwards then charged me an additional $20 when my cheque came in. I wanted to call them to cancel my order but all I get is a "thank you for calling customer service our office is now closed please call during business hours." To make things more sketchy the automated voice message sounded like it was cut off in between customer service and our office is now closed."

- Tharsika Mahatheva replies to LindsayI have the same problem. I don't remember when this happened but a few months ago I remembered someone calling me about magazines, a watch and the 2500 gift card. She talked to me about magazines, a free subscription and then a paid one for 48 months or something. I said ok but then changed my mind right away the minute I realized that this might be a trick. She also got very rude and said she's cancelling my order and hung up. I never received a call after that. Today, I received a call about this by someone new. She was nice to me and said I would get to enter the 2500 gift card, 24 months of free subscription for the magazines, and then a paid one which ends in 48 months and can cancel then. But at first I was told it was $3.32, after that I was told it was $14.38 and then she said $57.50. I am so confused right now. She said I would not get charged now but when I checked my credit card account, my money is gone. I don't know what to do.
- John replies to tcHow can i cancelled this could u assist me thank you
- Maggie WattsThese people seem to have changed their phone number, I had a call from 866-319-412 they were very aggressive and I was busy at the time and preoccupied with a family emergency, I did say no but Joshua was very persistent, even aggressive, I agreed as he went off 'record' and told me I had three days to change my mind, I have been unable to get through to the above number and I want to cancel this. Any advice. He stipulated that the company name was MPS Canada but said he was calling from Florida. Can I just call my credit card company and cancel or do I need to go to the Better Business Bureau? thanks.

- JimI too just got talked into subscription with these guys. They said they entered my name into contest for "$25,000" and a free watch if I agreed to receive 3 magazines for free for a period of time, then an addition "pack" of 3 more for a low price. They already had my name, address and phone number. They said I could pay in low "increments" over a period of time, not due until the "25th" of the month, for a total of $57.50". I fell for it. After I hung up, I checked my on-line bank account and found they had removed "85.78" immediately. I called the bank, they cancelled my mastercard. I then went to the local police station and reported this incident and my concerns. Any advice will be helpful at this point!

- Ron replies to DCHello, you might want to look up the collections act they are only allowed to contact you so many times per week I will point out that contact means sending an email or somebody answering the phone if you ignore the phone call that does not count as a contact. Another idea might be to contact the FBI since they are in my view committing fraud across state lines it is a federal matter and I was under the jurisdiction of the FBI if you reported as a fraud which I truly believe it is then the FBI will be the ones knocking on their doorstep and I'm not sure if they would like the FBI to be knocking on their door. The last resort would be to start blocking the number they called from. When I'm dealing with them or their Called credit collections department I become very rude myself on the phone I will call them names and anything I feel like refraining however from saying anything that might be considered a threat or a Offense. I hope this information helps if you have any questions please email me at n45016503@gmail.com
