This is a great site and much insight.  I knew this was a scam.  I got the same type of message except mine is from "Priority One Resolutions."  Address given was 3014 Delaware Ave, #4147, Kenmore NY 14217. Phone 855-810-3589 and fax of 888-996-2877. I spoke to "Melissa."  I asked her to support her alleged claim that they had by providing me copies of it-- I am yet to receive this.  She did have my address (old one), my new phone number and my SS#. This was scary to say the least but I guess nowadays this is easy to obtain.  Then I asked her for email address and website- she placed me on hold- said something that it may be down for maintenance.  I laughed and said ok.  Then she gave me "info@priorityoneresolution" as the actual website.  I asked her if this is the web address (as in WWW) and she said yes. I replied and said, NO that cant be because that is an email address not a website. She said well, it should be our website.  I knew then this was going to be fun so I played the game.  I said I am having a meeting with my bank and that I will contact them back- then she sort of change the tone and appreciated my time (Mr.xxxxx)-- all of sudden she gets formal!  Anyway, this is a load of crap and fraud all around.  I will move forward and properly file a complaint.  I am guessing Lakeside and Priority One are all in the same office or the same company.  A good scam but I ain't stupid.

The said I owe them money for a Loan I took out with OAKWOOD SERVICES LLC back in 2012. Which is not true...

Scary part they knew my email address, full name, last 4 of my SSN and last employer I worked out...

The address belong to the Post Office... I believe this is FRAUD....  but what can I do about it!??????

I got a call today from 8773954405 using the same address 3014 Delaware Ave kenmore, NY 14217 , I had a very hard time getting the address they didn't want to provide it, the people kept hanging up & was very rude, but they had valid information even had my bankruptcy information which startled me, I'm so glad of this site to help me know these people are fraud, I don't remember taking out a payday loan in 2012 that was not paid. I called them back & told them I was reporting them as fraud.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

They are back at using the name NP Group with a phone number of 855-857-7202.  Saying a loan was deposited to bank account in 2012, looked at bank statements nothing.  Also said validation of debit was returned to them, asked where they sent it and it was the right address.  Lived here for 7 years.
