- GeorgeThank you to everyone who has left messages about this #. I've rcvd 3 calls and don't answer unknown calls. 3rd call left message with # to call immediately. I think these calls are dangerous.
- Caller: Unk
- HooverTaped message - software installed on my computer last year indicates security breach. i have received this same message from 3 other unknown callers and sometimes several times a day. I don't answer but it is so annoying to hear.
- Call type: Prank
- KLeft message at 8:24 am PST saying that software they installed on my computer last year was giving a warning that the computer was hacked. Total scam. If past patterns hold, I expect several more messages like this.
- HateScamsSCAMMERS! DON'T ANSWER! The voicemail said they called due to a security breach in the antivirus software I installed on my computer last year: it sent them a red flag warning. Only I didn't install any since we haven't had a pc for years! They must think Americans are incredibly dumb since they not only didn't specify a software name, but think you don't know antivirus software notifies you & blocks it ON your PC. Idiots.
- Caller: Didn't specify
- HateScammers| 1 replySCAM-DON'T ANSWER unless you want incessant scam calls. Once you do you're on the lists. Voicemail doesn't specify a company, yet warns the antivirus you installed last year on your computer is sending them red flags! Lol 1st RED FLAG: THEY CALLED YOU- LEGITIMATE antivirus companies obviously DON'T! 2nd RED FLAG: ANTIVIRUS BLOCKS AND ALERTS YOU ON YOUR DEVICE! They must think Americans are incredibly stupid b/c who would fall for this?
- Caller: None specified
- Emily replies to HateScammersLots of people do because not everyone is an IT wizard with a computer.
- Sabina mertesJust got the call from that number. I just ordered some thing onlone yesterday with my credit info. I called 'him' back.

- RossReceived a call from this number, left a message about my computer being at risk because of some security software they installed on it last year. Nobody has installed any security software on my computer. Called them back; they refused to tell me what company they worked for, then said Microsoft. They are a scam.
- mwreceived 3 calls from this number. They say they are the company that installed the security system on our computer and they are seeing a red flag about a breach. I just have to laugh. How stupid do these people think we are. There are enough notices out there about these scams yet they just keep trying. Let them waste their time.
- Caller: no company name given
- busyoneGot a call from this number on my cellphone(which has nothing to do with my computer)saying there was a 'red flag' to them that the software they installed last year had been hacked.Scammers..if and when I set up my system, there is no mention of any phone number when doing this.Don't answer or give any information..period!

- TI answered the phone to a recording warning of a "red flag error" to software they "installed last year." No details about who was calling, the error or the software; you could tell it wasn't an American recording, because they accented the return call number in an odd way. I called the number: "Robin from Cisco" answered (he didn't give his name or company, I asked for both). I replied that he didn't sound like Robin, and was this a made-up name, to which he said yes. He claimed the red flag error was through my network ("Pacific Bell" when I asked - I don't do business with Pacific Bell), and that I was sending out spam to my contacts. I repeatedly asked for a local branch of Cisco in my area, so I could verify the claim. No reply for that. When I asked for the supervisor, he put me on hold which sounded like a hang up.
- Caller: "Robin from Cisco"

- GFSReceived a call from this number a short time ago and figuring it was a bogus call I hung up on him after blasting a few words in his ear. He spoke very poor English and just another trouble maker !! Tried to tell me it concerned a computer problem !!

- GaryI am receiving multiple calls from this number advising me of security breach/vulnerability related to a previously installed security system. It appears to be a robo call but is most annoying.
- gwcarvernut replies to StargazerThey are also claiming to be from geek squad
- Mrs R.R.robinsonRE: to security software they installed on my computer last year..No one has installed any such program on my computer....How do I get these calls stopped? Their recording cuts off the name of the caller/company calling therefore, I am not able to supply this information to you. January 9,2017 Will and what can you do to stop such calls? Seems to me the telephone company should be doing this as a customer service to it's customers.
