This is an automated inquiry update from Humana.

1st robocall claims to be from Humana, 2nd robocall asks to confirm your name with yes or no, 3rd robocall hangs up with no message; seems more like a scam, as it would be highly unprofessional of Humana to contact its actual members repeatedly without stating the actual reason for the call (account, billing, courtesy, etc.).

They say they are calling from Humana, But are they really !! My caller ID says -- 800 Service, if they are Humana then why does Caller ID say Different Name ! They are just asking for information about you, date of birth, soc. security number and any othe info that will helpthem SCAM YOU !! This is a third party account and Humana has told me that they do not use Third Party Accounts !! TRUE SCAMMER !!

Robo call from Humana in Spanish - we don't speak Spanish. I realize that we live in Florida, but most of us still speak English.

I agree with Cortana. Humana is a big pain in the hind end.  There repeated calls remind me of debit collector calls and they call at all hours of the day.  I have made the mistake of returning calls. Now I must be on their list of stupid people that respond to their stinking questionaires!

Everyone says it's Humana and if you read posts for other numbers, they also say Humana. Why is it they call from what seems like hundreds of numbers and not one of them says Humana, they all say "unknown?"

received a call from this number on 3 different days (including a Saturday).  First one left a message to call back with a pin number.  Second and third call no message.  Like everyone else, I believe that this is a scam number and have blocked from future calls.

It was a robo-call.  They knew my name, and that I was a Humana customer.
They left a message at my home number, asking me to call 877-230-1225, and giving me a 'unique ID' to use when calling.
I thought it might have something to do with my coverage, so I called back (from work) immediately.
The 'unique ID' DID tell them my name.
The first question asked me to rate my 'general health'
The second question was 'how many days in the past month has your health been 'not good'.?
I started wondering WHY they would be wanting this information, and why I should be responding.  So I just hung up.  I don't know if they would have gotten around to asking for a SSN.
They may have been legit.  But it bothered me that they just started asking personal questions 'in order to serve me better'.

This is a number from Humana. I decided to call the number back since they left me a voicemail with a 7-digit code to enter. However, when I called them, the automated voice said my name (probably caller ID program). It is an automated survey to ask about my overall health. I hung up before the survey began.

Very interesting responses before me, thanks everyone.  Had the same thing with a twist.  I am insured by Humana.  Humana definitely has my phone number AND uses it to contact me.  My wife's phone is on my AT&T account, so when you look it up wherever that info is available, my name would show up.  The call came to my wife's phone saying the message was for me.    Provided a callback number and a PIN.  No way I'm calling it back.  If it's not Humana, am a bit unnerved by the sophistication of the caller, being able to know that I'm insured by Humana and link my wife's phone to me.  As the old curse goes:  May you live in interesting times.

My husband got a Robo-call for me on his cell number at 7p this evening. Said they were calling for Humana, which is our insurance company. I cry bogus though because they have my cell number in the system. Why would they call my husband's number for me? Even if its legit, I won't call them back. I think its actually some kind of scam to get personal info.

Didn't  answer. Robo voice mail said it was Humana and to put in 7 digit code. Called actual number for Humana and said they didn't call me and wasn't their number. Probably a scam or trying to get info from you.

Although the caller claims to be from Humana, it is a scam. I checked with Humana and they did not make the call. I have now blocked this number.

I have Humana Ins. and I'm considering changing companies because they're such a pest! They call all the time about the silliest things like, "Have you had your flu shot yet?"

I have a Humana Medicare plan and when they call their name always shows up on caller ID but not this time. I called the number back and and it didn't say "thanks for calling humana" like usual, then the recording said my number was not on record, It does not sound like Humana

This number called my wife this morning.  It was a robocall.  It asked her to return the call and provided a PIN number for her to enter.  She did not return the call. Instead, we called Humana and asked them if this was a legitimate call, reminding them that there are telephone scams currently circulating that record responses such as "Yes" or "No" and then use these responses for felonious purposes.  The Humana agent was sympathetic to our concerns. She confirmed that the telephone number in question was not Humana's, and she said she would inform her supervisor of this scam.

Spanish then English saying it is Humana...caller ID says UNKNOWN so I did not answer.  I think Humana records got hacked--this is a scam.  Do not call them back

I called the number back, the robo call didn't recognize the number since I was calling from a work number.  I put in the 7 digit pin. When the repeated it back, they asked if it was correct.  I have learned you never answer with a "yes", so I said correct, and they kept repeating themselves because it couldn't recognize my answer.  TO me that is definitely a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
