call - no one there.....where is 877?

im keeping a log of the calls to my cell phone and as well on my sim card hope to be able to turn this into the authorities and see what can be done to stop it.  It is very annoying

Was filing out online job apps when it asked for my phone number.  Now I am constantly getting calls from this number that has nothing to do with the job I was applying for.  Wish it would stop immediately!

Unwanted calls from this number frequently.
The one time I did answer some woman was coughing & chewing while she asked me questions like "what year did I complete high school or get my GED"  & some other questions but it was hard to understand her between all her chews and hacks.  I hung up after a few questions because I figured she was trashy & didn't know not to hack into a phone or chew into a phone.  ugh.

I got 4 calls from this nu8mber today alone. When I see the number I just don't answer it.

Received 2 calls today....when I answered and said the person they wanted to speak to was not available they hung up. I called back and the person answered just said "hello" no company name etc. Very annoying! So I HUNG UP!

i got 2 phone calls that same day too! @ 4:34 and 8:00

I signed up for a jimmy buffett contest on facebook. 2 hours later calls have been coming to my cell. Later found out contest isnt real it telamarketer group collecting information.

Just google the do not call center, and put this number on the list, the more people who do, it will be spam number and taken off and restricted of fined.

They called me and I answered just wanting to know who they were.  they are from Phoenix College. I hung up once they started askikgn questions about enrolling.  Keep calling my cell.

Keep calling-- twice in 4 hours, once after 8pm.

Called me about 3 times a day for 3 days last week; mornings or evenings, random hours, fairly indiscriminately. I've been expecting calls from potential employers, so I've been answering any number. I figure it must be a call center because it knows when to hang up - no messages. Additionally, the couple times I got to my phone in time to take the call, I would say "Hello?" to nothing but eerie silence - not even the courtesy of a sales pitch.

I am Going to the local Pay phone and calling the back telling the to stop calling me
Reason for a payphone is simple the get billed .75 to 1.00 a call and since I didnt call them
from my number the are still in volilation of the do not call law and can be sued $500- $1500 per call

I've been getting lots of calls to my cell phone from this number, so today I finally called it.  I reached a gentleman who answered "Search for Degrees".  He immediately called me by my first name with no introduction, so they must have caller ID for cell phones (although I didn't know that existed).  I asked him to take my number off their call list and he said he would.  Hopefully that will do it.  Some of these people who call say they will and then they don't [remove their number].
