I got a call today at home for my Brother-in-law looking for a way to contact my uncle-in-law.  They simply asked me to give him a message with the name Michael Charloff at 877-241-7414 with a reference number.  I asked him who he was with and he said "CRA...uh...CR Associates."  He then said "have a nice day."

I got a call today from Michelle Silva from CRA associates.  She said my first name and then said "I guess you are still going by_________________" and said my last name which has been the same for 9 years.  She said she needed to speak to me or a legal representative in the county that I live in and then left a case number.
She left 877-241-7414 but the caller ID said Pompano Beach FL 954-543-4367

This is not a legit Collection Agency when I asked for an address they won't give you one. I also reported them to the Attorney Generals office in PA. I also talked to the actual CRA collections company and they said this is not them and don't give them any information, this is a scam. Collection agencies will give you any information you need with out a problem. I also talked with the church who's number shows up when you google it, they are also investigating this.

I checked my credit report and found something that was placed for collection.  The company listed on the Credit Report was Genesis Financial Solution and their address is 8405 SW Nimbus Ave, Suite A, Beaverton, OR 97008-7185 and their number is 888-615-8762. I put two and two together because I have never had a collection before.  Turns out they had the wrong person.  The person they were looking for had the same First Name and our SSN's were almost the same with the exception that the two middle numbers were reversed.  If you are receiving phone calles and would like them to stop, then send them a "Cease and Desist" letter.  You can find a Sample letter on the internet on how to write it.  (Google Cease and Desist letter) Be sure to send it via Certified Mail with a Return Receipt Request.  Once they receive the letter they cannot call you again by law. You might want to check you credit report to see if you have the same company information that I did.

I ordered a product online. I did not want the product so I wanted to send it back. I went to the website and it magically did not work so I called the # on the invoice. The # was 1 877 241-7414 no answer.  I tried to find out everthing I could about this company. My last atempt led me to this website. These people behind this number is a total scam!!!! If anyone knows how to find out who these people are please post!
