this company gets names of people that owe money, so bank of nova scotis uses them. Then they try to get a hold of that person by calling the number that bank gives them, unfortunately they take the last name of the person and computer jenerate auto calls telling everyone with that last name to call back right away and when you call u are given another # that if you call u get billed for it. They dont collect any money from the person they are looking for. It comes from the one that call the # back. The bank told me they use that company and I am in the process of uncovering What the hell the scotia bank is doing!!!!!!!  The company uses @20 different numbers and they are all unlisted  Global   Global Int

I got the same thing except someone with a Philippine accent called me on my Rogers home number which is not listed and asked for my wife by name. He claimed to be from Microsoft and said that my wife's laptop had some kind of malicious software running on it. I asked for a call back number and he gave me (800)914-2179. I tried to reverse look up the number but came out empty handed. I called the number and was told that the number was disconnected but that I should call 101 457 87. Of course that looks like a scam and now i have found this post.

I am at work and have received two calls from this number in the last couple of days.
I believe it is a trick to get you to call them, as the caller is a recording and very vague about the subject.
I am not going to call them as I do not trust it.

Company gave me their name as affglo a collection agency and that I needed to verify all My Personal information before they would Tell Me what that collection was for. I have no outstanding debts or collections against me so I knew it wasn't real and he said he wasn't allowed to give me the information before I told him
My personal information. I said I don't think so and he said these calls would
Continue until I did Give them my identity.
