Got a phone call from this number "ID Unavailable."  The male ask for me by my first name, then hung up the phone.  I tried to call back and phone rigngs with no answer.

Now, class. Practice after me. If caller ID shows something such as "unknown name" and a common phone-spam number such as "877", do this: Allow to the phone to ring up to four times, press the "answer" button and immediately press (if your phone has one) the "mute" button. The other end will not be able to hear you, however, you will be able to hear their end. Listen. If there is several seconds of silence, most likely a voice activated system is monitoring on the other end of the line. Do not hang up. Let this computer system run its cycle. It is "their" dime, let the telemarketer spend it. Most likely, it will hang up after thirty to sixty seconds. You may modify the number of phone rings once caller ID shows a suspect spammer. The "answer and mute" method can be perfected should these sort of unsolicited calls persist. I hope this lesson helps.

Been receiving calls the past week. Never any voice contact, always playing music. Hangs up after 5 to 10 seconds even if you say "hello"

they called and were asking for my father, said we owed them money then we were gonna get served. lol so i almost stabbed him lol

Weird, I've also been getting voice messages with piano music or Tony Bennett's "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" saying "I've been terribly alone." Creepy. How many others are getting this?

The same thing happens to me everyday about twice a day at the same time.If my answering machine answers it starts playing the freaky beginning of "I left my Heart in San Francisco" Tony Bennette song. If I pick it up before the machine and either say hello or say nothing, there's just silence.

I have been getting the same song on my home phone.  But many hang ups at work number.  I own a business.  Do you live in California?

Calling home and business.  Busines is hang up only.  Home phone plays music that states I am so lonely.

That is exactly the same thing I got.  It is from the Tony Bennett song "I left my heart in San Francisco."  A friend of mine also got a different part of the same song.  Weird!!!

A friend and I both received a portion of the song "I left my heart in San Francisco."  Try to call the number to see who it is and checked Reverse Directory but nothing is available and phone just keeps ringing.

Just got the "I've been terribly alone" music call.  I said "Hello", then it was quiet for a brief moment, and then the music started.  Glad others have reported it -- set my mind a ease that it's a scam, not something else.  Who in the heck would pay money to call and freak out people?  I am going to set my phone so it won't ring if they ever call again.

Phone rings, answer machine picks up and Tony Bennett is singing, "I've been terribly alone" and it's every day, sometimes twice a day.  Freaky, really freaky.  It's like they are trying to frighten you.  I'm glad other people have had this happen.  Now I can sleep.

Caller played a song down the line for about 5 seconds and then hung up.  Moron

My answering machine had a message saying I'm all alone. Very very creepy
