This is the exact same thing that happened to me but in addition to this number I have at least 3 other toll free numbers calling my cell phone every single day up to 5 times a day.  I'm super irritated and it makes me not want to do business with them.

Got a call @ 1:45p didn't answer

Seems to be a scam. I believe it is someone in-house at Direct-TV, selling phone numbers. Yesterday, I was searching for alternatives to Cable, and received an advertisement from Direct TV in snail-mail. Looked attractive, so I decided to explore it, and like DDD called Direct TV, and investigated. Of course, had to give my phone number etc. Did not make a deal, and today, I get a call from "Dish Network" -- caller ID 877-273-3670. I thought it a strange coincidence, call DirectTV one day, get a cold call from Dish the next, and I dont talk to cold callers. But I Googled their number, and found this forum. Thanks

Picked it up and said hello about half a dozen times. Nobody said a word, so I hung up.

They've called my cell phone repeatedly with Dish Network sales pitches.  I'm on the national DNC registry.  I asked each time to be taken off their calling list.  I was promised each time, save for the last caller who just hung up on me.

When I called back, the man who answered identified his company as "Satellite Centers", an authorized advertiser for Dish Networks.  When I asked to be put on the DNC, I was told the only way that could happen was if we disconnected and he hit a "Do not call" button.  When I asked why they didn't follow the national DNC, he said it was a management issue, so I asked to speak to a supervisor.

I was placed on hold for three minutes and then disconnected.

I filed a company with the DNC web page.

A man with a heavy accent claiming to be with Dish Network offering me a sign-up package at "ONLY $30 per month". Told him no thanks, as I am a working college student who has no time to watch tv. The man (who said his name, but I couldn't understand him) grumbled something under his breath and promptly hung up.

I too believe this has something to do with DirecTV because my home number is not listed and I don't get telemarketing calls. I called them yesterday to ask about their packages but didn't order anything, got a blocked call this morning, very staticy like a VoIP call from some lady with an accent too, couldn't really make out what she said and hung up. Now I get a call from this number 4:30 in the afternoon but didn't pick up.

Received a call from this number at 9:40am.  He said he is Mike from Dish TV and after that I could not understand what he was saying because his line got really bad. I waited for awhile and all of a sudden he shouted "You f**king B**ch!" and hang up the phone.

I called it back and they said it was Dish Network.
