Called leaving msg about contacting regarding tracing and says " law says they can contact anyone as reference". Def scam.  Does not state co name and looking for number for name not used in 10 years.

got same trace call sounds totally recorded and scamular. beware of this number do not give them any information

I received a call from this number and I must say, I am starting to get tired of these scamming scum. They need to get a life. I didn't give any information it just played hold music when I answered and then said goodbye. Be careful with this number.

Got sketchy call from this number

Just got a call from this number, ignored it. They left a voice mail that assumes the general public is gullible and malleable. It asks to contact them regarding some person who has left my number as a reference. What a presumptuous lot, who then asked in the vm to return the call even if you don't have info about the person's whereabouts? Can you say scam?

Got a call from this number. Spoke with a male person. They said they were from BRG. Never heard of them. Said they were working on a case of debt. I started laughing him. He asked why I was laughing, I told him it was because I already knew this was a scam. Because being a truck driver, I do not do payday loans of any kind. Period!!! So for them to say I have a debt from a payday loan is BS!!!!

I am receiving calls from this unknown number.   Please stop all calls

called my son asking for my whereabouts

he would not tell me who BRG is or what type of company they were hung up is this a legit call

These people have called members and non-members of my family to get information on me.    I have no clue who they are but they should not be calling everyone and anyone looking for me.

Got a voicemail message bit could not make any sense out of it have added number to block list

Uninformative, evasive, rude, no creditials, no references. Beware! Scam operators.

I received several calls from these people they call me at least once a day for several days now. its annoying. once I block one number they call from another. 1-877-279-0146 & 1-877-278-5235 are other numbers that have contacted me with the same message "Hello this is Jaime this message is regarding our location and tracing efforts for (my name robotic read) dial zero now to speak to a representative or call (insert what ever number they called me with that day) it is important that we speak with you in regards to their whereabouts if we cannon verify this information through you the law allows us to contact all references on file if you were unable to profidfe any information please contact us regardless at (insert what ever number they called me with that day)

This number called me saying they were "Jamie" tracing my grandmother and that the "law allows them to use all numbers listed as a reference" sounded like the message was recorded and spliced together because it was extremely choppy.

No it is not.  It is a debt scamming operation.  Ignore and block any calls received from this BRG group.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

Location service trying to locate me

These lowlifes called my daughter and threatened her. I'm going to take the steps CWG40 recommends. Tired of this crap. I don't owe anyone anything at all. It's total B.S.

Another thing to do - block the number.  You can us a call blocking ap on your daughter's phone to keep the calls from getting through.
