- Exposing scammers| 1 replyIt's spam and scammers just keep the losers blocked with call blockers they hate that because they can't contact a person to see if anyone is there but they will continue to call but call blockers keep them at bay. It's like the hate it with a passion. As voicemail and auto hang ups runs them crazy!!! Haa haa haa I love laughing at the idiots as soon as they call the phone gives them dial tones automatically LOL!! - Sherry AI've received 8 calls- back to back from the number. I tried calling back, but received a man automated message to wait for the next available operator, but I just hung up. They are continuing to call, but they only let it ring 3 times! I'm just going to block it on my end for now. Very irritating!

- Kathryn| 6 repliesThis is not scam! I was in hospital for a month and can't come up with the money to pay yet. You or someone gave them your number for emergency contact. Now that's a scam Dr and hospitals will ask for emergency contact, they only take that number so they can call them for money to pay the bill if you don't. The hepa prevents them from calling people and giving them your personal information.

- MikeHuntleton replies to Kathryn| 2 repliesSome debt collectors use criminal tactics to try scamming people into paying. Did you get a call from this number or just came to shill for someone?
- Kathryn| 2 repliesWell while I'm sending comment I get another call, 2 in 15 minutes. The phone vibrated with no ring and that was it, probably robo calls as soon as someone answers the rest of them drop off. This is a real call not a scam...
- Call type: Debt collector
- Kathryn replies to MikeHuntleton| 1 replyI'm the one they're calling. I don't get in the middle of friends or family bills. I would not betray their privacy if I did.
- Kathryn replies to Erin HuberUnfortunately a guy gives out my phone number and I received a call from a bank in California, and some get out of control if they think you're lying.
- Kathryn replies to Loser Scammers| 1 replyThis is a real company with real bills in hand.
- BigA replies to KathrynThen why don't you tell us all about this "real company with real bills in hand"? Because I'm wondering why you would bother to look up the number of a "real company"?
- Resident47 replies to Kathryn} The hepa prevents them from calling people and giving them your personal information.
No foolin'? All I have to do is carry an air filter bag from my vacuum cleaner on my ambulance ride to the hospital, and no loose-lipped types can ever "call people". Such a deal! I'll stuff one in my car and all of my jackets so I'm always ready.
Meantime, as a real citizen with real laws in hand, I know that honest debt collectors have no need to pelt me several times an hour with peekaboo phone calls or to "get out of control if they think [I'm] lying" or assume they can confuse me about my privacy rights. I've taught a few dishonest collectors the hard way in Federal court, a real place and not a scam, what those lapses in judgment can cost. - MzFish| 1 replyOk, if you know who's calling, why are you posting on a complaint site about UNKNOWN callers?
You keep arguing that "it's not a scam"....ok then quit arguing with logic and go answer your phone - chainsaw replies to MzFishNever underestimate the power of human stupidity! MzFish
