- BKThey've been calling my home phone atleast daily. I picked up an Interceptor ID a while back, http://www.interceptorid.com/ best $$ I ever spent. Now if someone calls without valid callier ID or from a number I've blocked, my phone doesn't ring, they just get the answering machine. I can sleep peacefully once again!
- BubsI've been getting repeated calls from these guys for months now. I get home from work to sometimes as many as 8 calls from these guys, but never a message, just a dial tone on my voice mail, which gets pretty annoying to say the least. Just called back and entered my phone number into their do not call list. I hope to god this stops these god damned calls, but I probably just set myself up for something even worse.
- s.williamswhen called back it said to enter my # on a do not call list
- Caller: na
- Tee replies to ChadI keep getting calls from 866.310.1844 as well and it's annoying as heck. They just hang up and they are calling my cell phone. What these people don't know is I work in the financial industry - my stuff is audited all the time and all that I do is under lock and key so if they mess with me....they are messing with the wrong person! Does anybody know WHO this is??? I mean in the very least they could answer the phone right?! Geesh!
- VictorI just got a call from 866-310-1844, the lady introduce CIBC VISA insurance(protect card lost etc.), and want to confirm my name and address, so they can send me a mail. I told her CIBC should have my information, she said she just want to confirm it.I do not think that insurance is good for me, so I refuse it.She want me check CIBC website for this insurance, and she will call me back in two week.

- coolcarI called this number back after seeing it on my caller id.
A machine answered and asked if I wanted to be on the Do not call list.
To do so I had to enter my phone number, which I did. The calls just keep on
coming now.
I reported this number to the FTC. Hopefully the feds can do something
about this. - K.D.I have been getting these calls on my cell. I call the number back. It said it was Do Not Call list. I reported it to F.T.C. It keeps calling me. I know it's a scam. And I want it stopped now!
- Eric B.| 1 replyI enjoy getting these calls as I don't have any real friends that call me.
- Martin replies to guyMI am in Ottawa and my cell phone is on the Rogers system. I have been getting one call after another from this number for weeks. I will advise Rogers but I am not very hopeful.
Martin - AnnoyedThese clowns called me 18 times in 11 days--mainly during working hours. After finally answering a call, the caller claimed to be from RBC Insurance (Royal Bank) and proceeded to read a script for some useless insurance product. Apparently, they aren't familiar with the word "No" and had to hear it several times before getting the point. Send an email to the RBC Ombudsman at or to the head of their banking and insurance business Jim Westlake at jim.westlake@rbc.com.
- Caller: Royal Bank
- Call type: Telemarketer
- D| 1 replyI find this all kinds of ammusing due to the ignorance of the complaintants. Most people cannot comprehend the fact that in the small print in any business transaction there is the possibility that, that company may contact you for further services, through third party vendors ie telemarketers. These services may in fact save you money, immagine that! Might be a good idea to actually take a look at the CRTC regulations regarding DNC requests when you are going to complain. It is fact that the company has 30 days to completely fulfill a DNC request. Understanding that telemarketers need to make "sales" why in gods name would they waste time leaving a message on an answering machine when it would not even contribute to the requirements of thier clients. I imagines sales = commission = a pay cheque = a person that is attempting to support themselves!
- FreddeHave received another call.. no answer when I picked up the phone. Just dead.
- KelownaI got a call today on my cell phone - no message. I hoped when I cancelled my land line, that I was getting rid of these kinds of calls!!
