These people keep on calling.  I wish they would stop.

Several calls a day seven days a week.
Starts at 8:10 and goes to 19:30
Caller ID shows:  Unavailable

unwanted calls all thru the week and all hours - never leaves messages regarding purpose

Calls through the week AND on Saturday and Sunday.  Never leaves message.

Computer generated call that calls my business constantly with no answer.

I am sorry you had to take such a sorry job.   Life is hard and if you take a job like that, expect what you get.      

I don't like people to wake me.    I don't like being disabled and having pains and cancer.  

I don't like the economy, and I don't like being poor.    

However, I do not owe any money to anyone, and I must suffer from YOUR JOB and YOUR CALLS.

When I die, and it won't be long.    I will finally get some rest from the annoying calls that this other woman left that I can not even pronounce her name.

I don't answer the phone half the time, and I am not going to start answering the phone.

You might as well except the fact that people are NOT going to tell you if they are the person you are looking for or not.   It is a cruel world.  If you choose this job, then you deserve to get what you dish out.


Again, my cancer is moving fast, and I won't have to be bothered with all this stuff where I am going.

And I will be going DEBT FREE, as I am now.

Repeated phone calls to place of employment after being asked not to by office manager, business owner & myself.  They were also advised I am not allowed to get personal phone calls at work & if this continues my employment could be at risk, still the calls continue all day long.  Also repeated calls to private cell phone number 7 days a week all hours or day & evening.  The phone number is 877-290-8894, today it was Ross who left a message at 8:15 am at my place of employment.

Apparently they feel they don't need to leave a message but they call multiple times a day. Well guess what, we don't answer that phone unless we know who it is, so try leaving a damn message and maybe I'll call back.

Update: I called it back and got the company who is calling on behalf of Capitol One. Anyhow they said my number isn't in the system anymore which is hilarious seeing as they called me just an hour ago. Anyhow she says next time to go ahead and answer it and just verify the number and tell them they have the wrong person and they'll remove me from the list. I know two debt collection agencies were calling for someone who had my number previously so this is probably why this is happening.

Been getting numerous calls from 800-430-5262 (800 Service) and 909-297-7333 (Citi RL)and now it appears this one has joined the crowd. We are never home when they call so it does not really matter... but I have a feeling they are looking for the owner of the condo (we are renting). No message was left today. The call came in at 1:13pm 5/8/08. Will post every or every couple of times these guys call too to keep tabs on it. Just like I am doing with that other 800 number.

Keeps calling for someone who is not allowed to use ,my phone ..Breaking the LAW keeps calling after getting certified letter telling them to stop...Plan on taking them to court for harrassment by telephone...The B.B.B. has them listed as BAD with over 200 complaints "unresolved"

A woman called our telephone number at home and asked for a "Sharp".
My husband answered the telephone and said there was no one here by that name. Then the person wanted to know who she was speaking to, and my husband said that he wasn't in the habit of giving out his name to strangers on the telephone. This answer of course did not please her. She said - that she had to write down the answer she was given, so she needed his name. He said - well if you need to write down what the person on the telephone said to you, then I suggest you write down that I am not Sharp, and that I would not give you my correct name. She said O.K., did not sound happy and hung up the phone. What total idiots - wish they would leave us alone on Mothers' Day.

this number calls my house all the time, who is it and what do they want

I called this number back after getting several calls that I did NOT answer, and was told it was "GC Services on behalf of Capital One credit card," which I don't have.  Today I did answer a call, and was told by a recording to "hold for an important message," and then a woman with a foreign accent asked for "Nicole," who is not a person in my household.  After that, I called them back to see what was going on and was told they represented Capital One.

Why don't you leave a message about your purpose of calling us so we would call you back. You need to be polite especially when we don't recognize your number. And please watch the words you are using.

Called and recording asked me to hold for a very important call. Operator answered finally said she was with GC Service and asked that I have the peron she was trying to reach return their call regarding a personal business matter. The number she asked them to call back to was 877-290-8894.

I got a message to call this number, 1-877-290-8894 using my first name. I called the company and was told it was capital one. I said ok, as I do have a capital one card and have for almost 10 years. It has a zero balance and never late so being a collection company never dawned on me. I thought they were just selling something. After they let me know that I owed money to capital one I was shocked. They wanted me to give them my social or my account number as they could not look me up by name or phone number and couldn't tell me how much I woed until they looked me up. . I thought this was odd. So, I called capital one and confirmed I am in great standing with them and they don't know why this company called as they are not Capital One and they suggested it could be a scam. So, I called GC Services again and they arssured me that they can't find that I owe anything and don't know why they are calling or why without finding an account the first rep would say I owed anything. They again stated that they do work FOR Capital One.  Needless to say I am frustrated and called to cancel my Capital One account. I feel irritated by GC Services but even more irritated that Capital One employees such an incompetant group and then tries to deny it when asked if GC works for Capital One.

I got 2 calls one on saturday the 14th of june and 18th
from this number and says they are looking for someone that does not live here, i live by myself, and i do know the name of the person they leave a message for, it is getting on my nerves, i called back and it keep saying someone will be with you shortly ...

Several calls a day, no response when I answer. No messages ever left.

I was called two days in a row from the same company "GSI Collection agency".  They told me that I was over my credit limit (big lie) and that I was late with a payment (lie #2).  I didn't feel comfortable giving out my b-day and card/account information over the phone.  So I told the first person to have a nice day and hung up.  They called back the next night and it was a different person.  They had Indian/Pakistani accents and asked for the same information.  I told the guy that it wasn't a good time right now, but if I could get his contact information, then I would call them back.  He gave me the "1-877-290-8894" number.  I googled it and came up with this site.  I also called Capitol 1 and they didn't even have my correct number or address in the system.  I also contacted their fraud department and they said the company is not affiliated with Capitol 1.  This is a Phishing scam, so don't fall for it.
