Found this link after using search engine to find out about number (877) 293-0205:  http://www.paymymedicalbill.us.com

Well, I DO owe Austin Radiological Association money, so I'm sure that is why this number is calling me.

The good news, if noone is ever on the line when you answer the phone, and they can't ever be called back, they won't ever collect any money for ARA, so ARA won't keep them for long!   Mind you, I'm not all that impressed with the brainpower at ARA...  

Just so you all know, a dead person's relatives don't owe his bills.  

I received a call from this number, but since it was an 877 prefix, I figured it was telemarking/sales/customer service since we had just visited the Apple store recently for service on our cell phones.  I listened to the recorded message left on my voicemail and it was in my son's name?!  It was requesting a call-back.  No way!!! Now that I see this number is associated with bill collections/harassment, I'm going to report it and I will need to investigate further. Hrrrumph!!

This number called me and just left a recorded message. I called back to see who it was and I asked where I was calling and they said "a medical office", I asked again what kind of business, " a medical office, a billing office". I have no outstanding bills with anyone and requested they not call me any further.

I have an update to post...

After receiving daily calls from 877-293-0205, I filed complaints with donotcall.gov and the FTC.  The calls continued, so I contacted my cell phone service provider and reported the number.  I explained that the caller:  Does not identify who they are, does not give a reason for the call, has a recorded message (not my name in the message), does not give me the option of notifying them that I don't want any additional calls, does not have a live operator available unless you press "1" to get transferred.  This caller meets the definition of "robocall" and under the circumstances, these calls are illegal!!  My service provider told me that they can block these "solicitation-type" calls.  This will not cost me anything!  
I recommend that anyone receiving these calls take the time to complain and contact their service provider.

oh i would have so told that biotch off...these idiots have some damn nerve...and they wonder why the general public treats them like crap when they call.  They are just people who need to be verbally and physically abused

uh the program cost $30....i dont call that free...

medical collections agencies collect for numerous medical providers  not just one.......just a FYI for folks...I used to work for a hospital and dialysis center and am very familiar with how medical collections agencies work.

The free version isn't available anymore though some still have and use it..

This company calls and hangs up when the phone is answered. When called back a woman answers and when ask why they call and hang up they ask for the number. I give it to them and they ask for an employee that left over a year ago, when I inform them that there is no one by that name at this business she wants it verified. When I tell them again that this person doesn't work here they ask for HR, we are a small company and do not have an HR department. I explain that this is a busy time for us and please stop calling. She states but you have time to argue with me, and I said yes because I want to waste your time like you waste mine!

They call almost everyday. I just don't answer.

They just called, said  nothing so I hung up and checked this website.  I've never been to Austin radiology, and I'm not outstanding on any medical bills so I don't know why they're calling me.

They called again this morning.

This is from Austin Retina - not  radiology. And I don't owe Austin retina any money.   They said they just wanted to see if I was receiving the statements from Austin retina   I told him yes and I was just in their office a couple weeks ago and I paid them and they said they needed to research this.  B/S

They call me from this number never leave a message , they just hang up as soon as it goes to message, I won't call it back because their is a lot of fraud going on so if they don't identify themselves, I will not answer or return the call, their are too many scams out there, and too many fraudulent agencies out there saying that they are attempting to collect on a debt and they will steal your identity and wipe out your bank account or use your credit cards.

I don't know who they are looking for

This number left a message to call them back, when I did it gave the options to pay a bill on their web site! The message would not clearly say what "company" it was. I was told that 877 numbers are out of country, so now I ignore them!

This afternoon I received a voicemail message for a name I don't recognize (something like "Carmondon"), asking for a call back to 1-877-293-0205. In the last 2 or 3 months I've picked up on about 3 recorded calls with a message for that same name, and instructing me to hang up if I am not that person. Caller ID today showed the number and "TELEMARKETER."

Didn't answer the phone.  It was obvious a scammer
