- Bill| 14 repliesFound on my credit card bill as NORTON ANNUAL RENEWAL 877-294-5265
- Anonym| 4 repliesI did not get a phone call from these people, but I did get charged $40 from them for a service that I dont even have...they just took it right out of my bank account!! This is a MAJOR fraud...Im on the phone with them right now on hold trying to get them to give me my money back!!
- LN replies to Anonym| 2 repliesme too! how long have you been on hold? I'm pushing 50 minutes
- Bruce replies to LN| 1 replyI will never use NORTON products again. This is bull$hit. I've been trying for a couple weeks as they double charged me. I guess the best would have been to have the credit card company deny the charge. This is rediculous. Use Avast it is free.
- busymommie| 2 repliesWas double-billed on my credit card for renewal of the Norton Antivirus and have now been on hold at this number for (I'm not exaggerating) 1 hour and 15 minutes. Have been doing other work on my computer while on hold. I am now contacting the credit card to dispute one of the charges. This is NOT customer service but rather customer neglect.
- Caller: Norton Annual Renewal
- Call type: Valid
- Mélanie replies to busymommie| 1 replyI'm on hold with Norton for exactly one (1) hour now (1-800-441-7234). They took 103$ on my credit card without my permission.
- Anonym75.76 straight from my bank account. and i gave them a credit card NOT linked to this account so im clueless how they even got this account. im getting a lawyer, it will probably cost me more than the 75 bucks but this is going to stop.
- Angry NateI got a charge to my credit card for 49.99 from this phone number. Norton has been completely useless in helping me resolve this! I've never even ordered the product! Has anyone figured out what's going on?
- AddyR| 6 repliesI didnt receive a call from this number, but it is on my bank account statement. My account was charged $74.54 for Norton Renewal from this phone number... I am not using Norton any more, and nobody advised me of this transaction. I did not authorized it!!!. Does anybody know what is happening, and how to resolve the issue?
- Dee replies to AddyRThe same thing happened to me! I've been charged three times in three months! I'm going to make some phone calls now. This is outrageous!
- Dee replies to AddyR| 4 repliesOK. This is what I did, and it seemed to work out OK (Though I'll know for sure when the refund actually hits my account). Go to http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/index.jsp
Click on "subscriptions"
Then click on "Contact us" (it's on the left, in orange print)
Then click on "click here to call us"
It prompts you to put in information regrading the nature of your call, then gives you a priority id# and a phone number to call (800-745-6061)
I waitied on hold less than three minutes, and the man who answered was able to help me quickly and efficiently--He is processing a refund to me, which should be back in my account in 2-3 days, and is turning off the automatic renewal for them.
Hope this helps!
Good luck! :) - SB replies to DeeThanks, that was very helpful, I had to call as well to be taken off the automatic renewal which I had no idea I signed up for - was just charged today for it. All taken care of, I guess in 5-10 business days it will be credited back to my account.
- misnascarfanHad a charge for $74.19 never bought this product. They took money from my account without my permission. What can I do?

Pierre Foucault ..............répondre en français svp; merci I - Darle-RayDee, I was also charged on my card. Thanks for the details but it didn't work for me. I filled out the forms & got a priority id#. Called the number 800-745-6061 put in my PRIORITY ID # and waited, after 10 minutes I hooked up the charger and put the phone on speaker. I waited for 3 hrs. 9 min. & 56 sec. on hold. Then I called my bank. I will get the money back. It may just take longer. If anyone MUST have the norton Please get it from the store. The Phone Support Contact Information page stated the "We answered our last customer call in 1 minutes" I fill sorry that person (must have take over 3 hrs to fix the problem)
- James Gaines| 1 replyI was billed for Norton annual renewal, I don't want it. Please credit my account for the $74.19. I am contacting my bank, this is so wrong
- Caller: no call
- Scott O replies to James GainesMe too. Charged $43 and it wasn't even downloaded. BS. Never again Norton
- lightninboy| 1 replyI just got one on my bank statement, which was a surprise because I replaced Norton with AVG a year and a half ago.
- Nancy replies to Bill| 1 replyThe only one this phone is an Indian guy and says he is going to refund the money and you call again and for your credit card again and sends you an email,,,he buys time when you decide to go to the bank is toolate...i think this number is a fraud..he charge my acoount twice but the second time I went to the bak right away
- Nancy Again replies to lightninboyYou have to go to the bank and tell them this is a fraud. Is only one guy answers the phone, an Indian guy tells you wait for your refund and you wait and never gives your money back and he asks more questions. You have to close your account in order to do stop it... He did it twice to me.
