Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Never had a car repossessed.  Barely speaks English. Just ignoring these calls since I know I don't owe anything and have nothing in collections according to my credit reports.  Has to be a scam.

have a landline phone and always go to internet and look up any number I don't know.  This company comes up on many different phone numbers.  They are scam artists under collection agency name.  Under federal and state laws, collection agencies are only allowed to call 3 times in one week.  First of all they have to mail you a collection letter stating their name and address phone number and how much
the amount when the debt was incurred go one line and look for the federal laws pertaining to collection agencies and for your state.

Within the past 3 months I have been getting these calls for things that I do not even know. They say that they are calling for another person that I never met. They said I owed 600 for an Xbox One. I never owned one of these consoles and I asked them for proof and they do not even say anything. These people are also very rude and they will keep calling you. My friends and my fellow employees have been getting calls from them also. DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHIG!
