i have been dealing with this company in corona ca. i have paid some money but stopped . They are rude and demanding and my debt was only 300 dollars but they had turned it into 2,216.44. harashment and creating a amount that is this much over what i was initialy in debt with is unfair practice and illegal in the state of texas. When i first started paying , they had not given me a name . when it was drafted from my account it came out as MAPLE FILING SERVICE . when they recently contacted me cause i did not pay they stated that there name was south coast filing. now your saying its falco financial service . they constanly change their name and do not give a physical address nor provide to much information. I even told them that i was going to get with a debt solutions place and she stated that she did not work with them that they are not a collections agency , when her attempts and contacts have been to COLLECT  a debt. She stated that she worked for a company that does the filing and sends out papers to go to court. and if it went to court the amount would double in court costs. I told her why would they take me to court if i was attempting to pay. They are indeed a collections agency that bought your debt and are attempting to collect 3 or 4 times the amount owed and is unfairPRACTICE. it is also illegal to represent yourself to work for a attourney who is going to be sueing you and that is not the case at all... These people need to be reported. any time a debt is being collected they should be able to provide you documentation breaking down fees and showing that the debt belongs to them!!! these people have cause me headaches and stress..... FOR NOTHING. Truth is i can get with a debt solutions that will handle everything legal and there is not [***] they can do about it. and the womans name i spoke with is VICKIE AND SHE IS EXTREEMLY RUDE. and you will notice if you search maple filing service that she works there too and has complaints as well... HMMM WONDER HOW SHE WORKS FOR MAPLE FILING SERVICE AND SOUTH COAST FILING AT THE SAME TIME.... scams scams scams!!!

They called me saying I was being sued by Dillard's, that I stopped paying my bill on 2008....GUESS WHAT!!! I was working at Dillard's on 2008....

Said call was from corperate headquarters. Did not give company name. Has called my employer twice.

I have been contacted with same threats but about someone we knew 7 years ago. I have lived in 3 different cities since then. They must do some type of investigation because the lady they are looking for was barely an acquaintance.
Unless they have a badge that says Law Enforcement they would be wise not to show up at my door. They be finding themselves staring down the end of a 45 prying it don't blink.

Couldn't understand the broken English very rude said they were having someone come and serve papers in an hour that was 2 hrs ago gave info without verifying the actual person of interest couldn't understand company name.

They stated that a processor was on his way to my house to serve me with papers and with a court case. The rep gave me a case number . Said I had to call them to call off the processor. I have no idea who this company is? I live in IL I looked up on the Kane County Clerks Court website, and I do not have any cases against me. South Coast threatened me and scared my family.  The rep was rude and kept yelling at me. This is no way to run a business. I looked up their phone number on the internet and read I am not the first person this company has done this too. South Coast has violated the The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, by threatening me. I intend to file a complaint with the federal Trade Commission, and the Attorney general as well.

Let me tell y'all something.. I have been around the block! I filed a $3.5 million dollar bankruptcy back in 03' I have owned MULTIPLE businesses and  when someone calls to threaten you... That is their LAST leg! The ONLY things you have to worry about is when you actually receive documents from courts, IRS or the State!  If you live in Texas, like myself, its a cake walk but in other states its just as easy.  Don't ever make deals with these LOW LIFE collection people, their job is to scare the crap out of you.  You want them to quite calling? Just tell them "do something about it... thats it" if they do, they do... in any case you won't have to jack with them any longer and they will take steps to sue if they feel as though they can, phone conversations will just make their job easier!  Their ultimate goal is to just get a "summary judgment" on you.  If your served, respond to the suit (its going to be civil) and in almost every case they will drop the case or just start calling you again saying "you better settle with us.. yada yada) search the internet on responding with admissions to the civil case, don't give up!  They will give up if you continue to fight! I have done it several times.. they don't want to come to your town and battle for it.. they want it served up easy like!

These people have been calling my family and friends and neighbors that I don't know telling them I am going to jail and I had better call them back. This is a scam DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. File a complaint with the attorney generals office and the federal trade commission. They are breaking the law and need to be shut down.

Welcome to the Corona Scam.

They make up fake "debts", often from pulling your own credit reports, finding an old account, and pretending you "owe" it to them.  Then they call and threaten you, either directly or through fake "process server" calls to relatives, pretending they have "sued", or that you will be "prosecuted".

They operate under more than 60 names out of Corona CA, and keep adding new front names and numbers as too many complaints pile up against the old names.  You can find complaints against them all over 800notes, whocallsme, and similar sites, against all their names and numbers.  The MO is always the same, as described above.  It is basically a fake "debt" extortion racket, involving wire fraud and illegal access to credit reports.

There are reports they are under investigation.  Contact FTC.

I receive these calls alot! I had one guy call me and coincidently, I had just received a copy of my credit report that day. This guy claimed to have my credit report and true enough, he was making up a debt that was supposedly on his copy. I argued that it wasn't on my copy. He then started requesting payment on this supposed debt. I told him that I didn't have any money and to just go ahead and have the papers served....I asked him what time to expect the server because I will be home all day. He got completely pissed! He started arguing that if this went to court, I would lose and would pay more. I again told him that I didn't have the money; go ahead and serve the papers; that I would take my chances in court. HE WAS PISSED!! And he just hung up! Today I have received a call at my job from this particular number. I think I will call them back and have some fun with these scammers!

Hello George, I know this is late, but 'JOSH' is one of 'them'. He's trying to scare  you into thinking these calls are legit. don't fall for it!

I sent a complaint tot he BBB in CA... The company "South Coast" claims they DO NOT make outgoing calls... Which is totally false.... basically they are calling us all lairs!!
