no message, no idea who this is.

it's from some dumb telemarketer called favorite credit card company. they call me everyday. i spoke to an agent and told her to remove me from the list. she told me she did but the calls have continued. the last one i spoke to told me no when i asked to be removed again. then they hung up. who can i report this to?

they called looking for somebody named kathy.  this is the second day in a row.

Yea its been the same here, also look out for 866-617-8693 its their number too.  You can report it to the FCC I'm on the do not call list and they are still calling, and beware if you go through the conversation they will ask for your Social Security Number.  Be careful and report it to the FCC.

received one call from this number. Somebody named 'Rahib' - asked him how he or his company got my cell phone number, for I don't give that out to just anyone, espically telemarketers. Something needs to be done to stop these telemarketers from calling on people's personal cell phones.

Got a call from this number asking for someone with the same last name as mine, but with a first name that no one in the house has.  I called them back, and the greating said "Favorite Credit Card", and said to wait to talk to a representative, but I hung up.  I will call back from a payphone & try to talk to them to find out more.  Anyone know what this company really does?

I've gotten some mails for this person at my home, and a subscribed magazine (along with invoice) also.  I wonder if someone out there is using my phone number / address...

WOMAN SOLICITING ME FOR A CREDIT CARD.  GET A LOT OF THESE CALLS WITH PEOPLE WITH AN INDIAN DIALECT WHO CANNOT BE UNDERSTOOD WITH THEIR UNWANTED MESSAGES. REPORTED THEM TO DO NOT CALL REGISTRY AND WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

TRY  DO  NOT  CALL REGISTRY AS I DID AND SEE IF IT DOES ANY GOOD. IT HAS HELPED ME A LOT WITH PAST PROBLEM CALLERS WITH UNSOLICITED OFFERS JOE "K"

Some rude guy just called me from that number. He had my correct name then tried to ask me if i wanted to start a home based business. I told him no thanks then he started shouting and calling me a loser. I hung up.

Here we go again---instead of using the 866-number. My favorite credit card is now using 877-326-5877. Of course when you call, all agents are busy and you're directed to their website. Of course, it's not real. I've left messages asking to be removed from their call list...but not luck.

Recieved a phone call today, and struck up this conversation (I wasn't given a name.)

Fav Credit Card: Who am I speaking to?
Me: Who are you calling for?
FCCa: I don't know.
M: What phone number did you dial?
FCCa: I don't know that either, but, could I get your SSN to verify your account with us.
M: I don't give that information out, ma'am.
FCCa: What about your credit card information, then?
M: Nope.
FCCa: Fine, I'll have to call authorities because of your harassing phone call.
M: That's fine with me, but don't f***ing call me again. Have a nice day.

Report them to the FCC, the best way of doing it. (I'm signed up on the DNC list, and it didn't help.)

Yea, I just got one. It was left on my voice mail. I heard all this background noise, and the woman I could hardly hear speaking .She was speaking a different language, Indian (or whatever language they speak from India) I couldn't understand anything. I won't call it back.
Last month I received a call from another number (sorry, don't remember) Somehow they called an elderly neighbour from across the street, that I do not know. So she came over and my cousin just happened to be walking by my house and called our cell phone. So I call this number and they were rude and wanted my social security number to see what was going on. I told them no.
So I called the police to tell them the story. They called the number and said it was a legit business. I said "How did they know where I lived and why did they call my elderly neighbor I do know?" "I don't know ma'am, its not of my business." So that was no help. So I did call back, and when I did it sounded all business like, not like the previous call. They had my last name, but a different first name of no one that has ever lived here or that we know. So the police were fooled. If I find that number I will let you all know.
This needs to be stopped.

Me again..the other number is 1-800-504-0227 I forget the name, but they will ask for Social Security and this and that. I just thought it was strange they didn't call MY number, but a neighbours. The police didn't find that strange..hmmmm
