They called and my son ( who's 14 ) answered.  He said they were looking for someone named "Taco John" or "John Taco",,,,LMAO!  The reason I find this funny is because, here in Wisconsin we have a mexican fast food restaurant called Taco John's :-)  Anyway, I had gotten the same phone call a while back only they left a message asking the same exact question they asked my son!

I received a call from 1-877-326-5877 just now. The message left was "Huh!"
The person sounded disappointed that they didn't get to talk to anyone.

Recived a call from 877-326-5877 was informed that it was a citi bank chase credit card offer.

A lady called me at 8:58 p.m. cst. She was Indian like. Can I speak to ....and my name. I said "She's not here right now, can I take....Hung up. Has called me several times on my cell phone. I got a call once and asked how they got my info, forgot the company name, but they said they bought a list from the credit bureau. Can they do that......Is it legit to buy a list from the credit bureau. Just wondering.

got a call sounded like a ligit biz for a credit card company. then i hung up as i didnt want to talk to them. when i called them back at the number on my id it said their website was www.favoritecreditcard.com. when i wen to the website however, i recived this notice on my comp screen :

I keep getting phone calls from someone who identifies themselves as "Credit Card Services" offering me under 7% interest rates on all of my credit cards which now are mostley almost 30%.  They ask for a current credit card number on one of my accounts in good standing along with the experiation date.  Of course I didn't just fall off of a turnip truck so I didn't give it to them.  Today I played along.  I told the girl I don't give out that information and that I am on a "do not call list" in my state and nationally and I guess I will have to report them to the attorney general in my state and they hung up on me. Has anyone else been told it is "credit card services"?

I got a call the other day by 877-326-5877.  They asked for me and when I know it is a telemarketer I usually will tell them I am not me or they have wrong number.  My phone is unlisted so I don't know how they got my number.  They continue to call, they just called, the talk was garbled and only understood it to be a male indian accent.  Then they hung up.  So, I called the number back and just got a recording of it being customer service then finally said all were busy and I could leave a message or go to their website, couldn't get on their website but left a message telling them that I have asked them repeatedly to not call my number and they still continue to harass me.  The last callat 8:45PM TONIGHT.  So, my next step is to report them....I know there is something you can do to get money out of them for the harrassing phone calls and I am going to get them where it hurts.

Yes, we heard from this same number, but they left a blank message on our answering machine (it has the default message on it, which seems to confuse a lot of people).

Jan: Many credit card companies do have departments that would be called "credit card services", but best to call the regular cust. service number listed for your credit cards(s) to verify that this is the case.  If it's a legitimate interest rate reduction offer from your real credit card company, they will usually mention its name in any message that's left. (I get these, too, but mostly I ignore them, just on principle.)

Recieved another phone call from them (don't they learn.) I called back and got a voice mail. IF THIS HAPPENS, DO WHAT I DID AND SAY THE FOLLOWING SCRIPT:

Thank you for calling my {PHONE}. Your number has called me [NUMBER OF TIMES CALLED] so far, and each time I have {COMPLAINT]. I am considering this a harassing phone call and ask that it stop immediately. If these calls do not stop, and ther is no legitamate reason to call, I will be forced to take action, and report this number to the FTC. If this is a legitamate phone call, and someone does not answer, please leave a message, and I will get back to you. Thank you for your cooperation, and have a nice {TIME OF DAY]

Be assertive, but calm, and explain that you do not want this to happen again. They can not take this as a THREAT, so do not let them do that. If they do atempt to press charges for a threat, explain to an attorney what has happened, and they will take care of it.

If you can't afford to hire an attorney, you may ask for a public defender to assist you in sending "cease and desist" letters.

Called my cell; which is on the do not call list just added to it 2 months ago. looked up the # and it is a credit card offer place.

Revieved unsolicited call from this number at 8pm on Thursday October 1st.  I called the number back and nothing was on the line.  Called back a second time and I was made to listen to a hold recording asking me to please wait on the line and if I wanted to find out why I was called faster, I should visit FAVORITECREDITCARD.COM and that would let me know.  I enter the site into my browser and got an error saying I must log in.  This is quite annoying and I dont wish this upon anyone.

877-326-5877 calls me every week at about the same time. From what everyone is saying here it looks like it's some sort of credit card scam from Favoritecreditcard.com. I keep on not answering, in the hopes of that he will simply give up, but he keeps on trying. He even left a voice mail that was just a couple of seconds of silence. He's been calling for at least a month. Creepy.

Hey, I just made the post above, and it seems like the website FavoriteCreditcard.com isn't up anymore, but they moved to http://centralcardprocessing.com. Website is pretty empty with not much info at all, though.

This is one for the books here.  BOTH my home phone and my cell phone started ringing at the same time.  Can you believe this?  That caller ids showed the same number as calling me at the same time on the same phone!

I got the same # 8773265877. I have continued to call them back over and over and finally someone named Jacob answered (indian accent) and said he got the # from chase manhattan credit card company.  I told him I have filed a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General and I needed to have my # taken off the list.  I "promised" to take me off the list, confirmed my phone # and hung up.  They have called me about 6 times in a month.  So I suggest everyone try to keep calling back to see if they answer.

They called and didn't leave a message, I call back and it's some automated message and it says their hours are during the week, but I got this call on a Saturday so... sure. Anyway, the message says they are "something card processing" it's very poor sound quality. I didn't sign up for anything, but I'm on the DNC registry.
