I used to live in Erie, too. Moody Law Firm does not have the whole building. Rodriques has an EXECUTIVE SUITE there-meaning soemone to answer phones & handle mail. They are a real firm & he is licensed to practice law in PA.  He is NOT however collecting under FDCPA rules. I know the firm exists & has a presence there since my attorney successfully served him there  we won a judgement.  Hirean FDCPA attoney & sue.  No Fee up front usually

Owing the money is one thing.  Following the rules to Legally collect that debt is another.  Ignoring  or trying to circumvent the rules in order to collect hurts EVERYONE-The collection industry, the debtor, and the lending industry in general.

Seems the scammers "recycle" names - it's back to Donald Sandino.  Ironically, the called leaves me voicemails, but never leaves a call back number.  I cannot verify the phone number used, as every call is blocked/private number.  I've never heard of anyone scheduling a summons.

The same thing happened to me however it was our phone # but not my full name. The person they were looking for had my first name as their last name. I just called and they were so rude to me. I asked them to stop caling my number or I would contact the authorities and he commented "you dont have to be so rude and do what you feel you need to do" now what God honest law firm allows someone to talk to you like that...this is a total scam!!!!!
The reason I was so nervous was because you could hardly hear them say the first name and my husband thought it was for me...

I have had calls in the last few weeks from the same people but the number was 0203 298 8153/0203 468 2128. Claiming to be from pns law firm or paul&john law firm ,they have been reported to actin fraud(0300 123 2040) or the law society(0207 320 5650 or 0870606 2555).this is known as an advanced fraud scam.the thing that baffles me is how they get hold of our information , i thought the internet was meant to be secure.It seems these people have somehow got hold of another number to operate from ,these [***] need to be stopped . my advice is if you get a call from them ,get as many details as you can &report it .However if you try to press them for more info ,they get the hump &hang up on you ,they only do that because they dont understand what you say to them. REMEMBER THE GOLDEN RULE REPORT IT.

Division One Carrier Services is how the lady claims their title. then this "B" that calls herself tracy swansen try's to claim that it "might be" court papers. They make sure at that point if you listen carefully that they are a courier service and she is just guessing at what it might be. That is why they believe it's ok to do this.

this is a old payday loan i took out and never paid. however its older then 4 years and here in ca that's SOL
What they are doing is illegal but it's hard to track them down and sue. best case for you is ignore, do not talk to them at all.

They are not court papers. If you are being sued you will be served with a summons and you do not sign the papers given to you. Read back through all the posts & you will see they NEVER follow up with what they say and actually send anyone out. In the remote chance that someone actually does come to your house, refuse to sign.

Ignore it ,it is a scam.report it to action fraud.

i got a call from division one services claiming that they have a summons to give me.  i hung up on them, knowing that it is a scam.  process servers do not give you advance warning about them issuing you a summons.

and they had the nerve to call back...i just let the phone ring and ring....

pay him no mind....probably a troll....

The new number they call from is 206-414-5441.  Frank Kelly from Divison One Carrier Services supposedly out of Tacoma Washington.  He told my son that case number RF 3285 had been filed and that papers would be served.  I called back and asked for the company name, address, city, state, and licence number. What I got was "I dont understand you".  Really?  A case is filed at the County Court House of either the place you live or where the company is based out of.  Dont be fooled!! These people are scammers!  PRESS THEM FOR INFORMATION!! They will not call again.

And this number also 8662510984 guy claiming to be JOE McKinley or from the office of....Joseph McKinley Jr is a Federal Judge that's why he is using this name its a federal crime for him to do this ~ leaving messages saying they are coming to my home to serve me with papers!! I don owe a dime WTF!!! I HOPE SOMEONE READS THIS AND SEES THIS IS A SCAM AND ILLEAGAL DONT GIVE THESE PEOPLE A DIME CALL THE POLICE!!

We are receiving calls on several cell phones and my home threatening legal action against one of my adult children.  Caller identifies as Division One Carrier and refers us to contact Corporate offices immediately:  206 414 5441  is number they are using with us.

So I today was an intended victim of Carrier 1 Division Svc. I recieved a call from someone by the name of Ms. Pauliski, on her voice message she left 2 numbers that I could return her call 5134158605 and 8555430051. Her message stated that I needed to return her call within 48 hours with regards on how I wanted to handle this issues. I'm like what issue. She then proceed to tell me that I would have a felony warrent issued for my arrest and that they would pick me up from my house or job. So I called the number back and she answered the phone, told me that I had bad checks floating across county lines. 1st I dont even own a check book and all my transactions are through my debit card. And 2nd I dont have any loans out so how they got this information is beyond me. Just so happens we have this prepaid legal service with my job I called and spoke with an attorney and he said also that this was a scam. This is very frustrating.

he called me too from 360602-2500 said hes coming to my residents i told him i'll be waiting.

I'm surprised these bottom feeding morons are still in Business. My advice is to contact an attorney that specializes in FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) cases.  Most if not all do not charge a fee. They collect from any settlement. This company routinely violates statutes of the act that generate big fines and judgements. In My case. They said in a voicemail (which I kept as evedence) That they were going to serve me with a summons and that I would have to sign for it which NEVER HAPPENED. Even if they DID serve me you never have to sign for a summons. I Live in Texas and there is a statute here which requires them to have a bond on file in order to collect debts which they also didn't have.  My attorney ripped them a new one & settled the case which netted me $1800.00 and they had to pay the original creditor on top of that.  The best way to get back at these bozos is to hurt them in the pocketbook
