Just do not answer your phone, it's simple. Turn rigger off and ignore them. Make calls when you need to.

They can call all they'd like, as long as you don't answer. If they speak to you or leave a message then there's a time frame they need to wait...
I do have debts owed but I refuse to answer to these people until I have the money for them.

They are rude and think threatening ppl will help. Which doesn't.

But seriously, google their rules. Its absurd

They buy old debt. The company that you owe sold it to them for pennies on the dollar. Instead of going through these people contact a third party that can negotiate for you. These people will charge you the full amount of your debt PLUS their tacked on fees. They don't even recover it for the original company.

The problem with buying up old debt is that peoples telephone numbers change. I have been receiving harassing calls from collection agencies since 2002 for some dead beat that didn't pay his bills. As you can see, he hasn't had 'my' number for close to 15 years. Complaining to government agencies about these parasites that refuse to acknowledge their mistake is useless. Remind me why we pay taxes again?!

This is a landline and no, I don't have all the add on services, besides call display and voice messaging. Fortunately, I rarely use the phone as I rely on my cell. Older relatives that don't know how to text call my landline and leave a message when they don't reach me on my cell phone. Otherwise, I'd get rid of it.

Called my landline their info is based solely on a last name. Looking for someone that does not live here, never has, and we've owned our number for over 20 years. Then they ask "well do you know this person?" .... get lost!!
    • Caller: Don't have call display & they didn't say

Nobody buys old debt anymore. They send the agency your info and the agency gets a percentage of money recovered. It doesn't matter who you pay,  the agency or the original company, the agency still gets their cut as long as they are contracted on your file.

Caller ID for #877-330-2289 is "Toll Free Service" I didn't pick up. If they are debt collectors they are usually looking for a person that doesn't live here. They are calling this number once in a while.

This company calls from so many different numbers and texts as well, all hours of the day and night as many as 5 times a day. I don't know who it is because I do not answer 1800 type calls. They do not respect any form of harassment laws clearly.  It seems the more laws that go in to protect privacy of individuals, protect us less and less everyday.  I finally changed my number after the thousands of calls over the past 2 years.

Yeah these guys are trying to collect on a debt I don't have nor even exists.   They often lie about the laws they are bound by and fabricate ones involving consumers.   I was one of the few who abided by the laws which we were bound by.
