They have been calling for months. Recently I purchased a new phone, Panasonic M#KX-TGA641C (on sale at a big box company). It has a really cool feature...call blocking. I get a half ring before the phone blocks the caller. Now this number a few others numbers no longer bother me :) Bye Bye telemarketers!

This number appears daily on my phone --- I have answered it x 2 and there is never anyone on the other end.  I am registered on the do not call list , so what is the next step to make this stop ?

No idea who these people are, but obviously they're using an auto dialer or something, because they keep calling my fax line.

I called the number back and it went directly to voicemail identifying them as the MS society of Canada. The message says 'if you would like more information press 1 now..." Did that and a new message said "if you do not want to receive calls from us anymore press 1 now" Did that, process confirms your phone number and promises to stop calling you. Hope it works..these folks are rude and annoying! Next time I have a chance to speak with someone from the MS society of Canada they will be getting a piece of my mind!

MS society of Canada keeps pestering us from new numbers all the time.  I have concierge service through Primus and I am forwarding the calls to 1 800 268-7582 MS main number.  Let them talk to themselves.

Every two to three weeks I receive calls from some organization that wishes to pick up old clothes. If I gave every time, I would be walking around naked!

I have had several calls from this number every day for the last couple of weeks. Finally today I called the number back and it says it's the MS society of Canada but it doesn't give you any options to remove yourself from their call list.

Press one for the first option which I believe was a prompt to learn more aboutMS society then follow the prompts to remove number. They don't make it easy for you. Just did it and it said could take up to 30 days!!  Good luck

When I called the number it was the MS Society. They also call regularly from 866-665-6731, and possibly also 877-857-1144 & 877-878-0954 (the last 2 according to other people's reports).

I have received up to 6 calls a day from this and the following numbers:

1-866-655-6731
No-one at the other end.  I called each number back and got the same message...Multiple Sclerosis Society.  I have emailed them and told them that I will no longer be contributing to their society until this annoying practice is stopped.  Everyone should do the same. It saddens me that a society fighting such an awful disease would stoop to such depths and alienate so many potential supporters.

We have been receiving an inordinate number of phone calls from your society.  However there is NEVER anyone at the other end.  It is only through dialling the numbers that we discover these calls originate from the MS Society of Canada.  So far, we have received calls from four different toll free numbers.  These calls come at all times of the day and evening. Often we receive as many as 6 per day. This is completely unacceptable.

If this is how you think we are going to donate to your society you are strongly mistaken.  MS is a dreadful disease and needs to be fought. However the money being spent on these, what can only be called nuisance calls, is a complete and utter waste.   We will not be donating to the MS Society until this practice is stopped.

Please remove our number from your call list immediately.  It is
