This company is called Equity Solutions & Processing, and according to my research they go after people who have ever had a pay day loan. The thing that irritated me so much is that they asked for me by a name I haven't "been" for 25 years and they had my cell number. Their message is really scary. They make it sound like they can take your home from you within 24 hours. They're real [***]. I think what those places do is keep records of all the people who have ever gotten a pay day loan and periodically try to bill them again. I'm sure some people get freaked and pay twice because they don't have proof they paid it off already.

They call  your phone restricted somehow that it came up as "111111111111" on my caller ID. Both on my cell phone and on my work phone... like you Donna, they had my maiden name, not the name I've had for the last 4 years. They were VERY threatening in their messages and advised further action would be taken and they would come to either my residence or my place of employment. They then called and left the same type of message on my work voicemail...again calling from the "111111111" number.  I called the number they had left 877-333-7033 and spoke with an agent. He had the last 4 of my social, started off by telling me this was for a payday loan I took in 2007 and closed the bank account and because the current balance of the debt is over $500 and I owe $620, they can take me to court as a felony.  I made him repeat all his information, tried to validate who it actually was he worked for, what the name of the Loan Company was....which he couldn't verify...just said his information was from "Corporate".  I stated that I had a copy of my credit report in front of me and I have no collections from anywhere, legal firm, "corporation" that are outstanding, especially one for a payday loan.  I told him that for my peace of mind and protection I wanted proof of the documents I signed with proof of the account numbers I provided and proof that the account was closed as he indicated.  That is why they could "go after me for a felony" because I intentionally closed the account.  He then backtracked and said there wouldn't be any signatures because it was an online payday loan. He also then stated he was trying to "stop the process so that "THEY" couldn't go after me for a possible felony, because that could possibly happen".  He was more than willing to knock my supposed $620 balance down to $420 if I agreed to set up a payment for next Monday, because "that is the last day of the month and I can then note your account paid in full so that nothing further happens".   I told him to email me proof of whatever information he had and I would get back to him.  He stated that once he emailed me the information, he would not be allowed by law to contact me for 30 days.  .... this was over an hour ago and I still have yet to receive any type of email from this company.

This person Mr Green called me this morning and left a message with my mother saying that there was a case pending against me for something.  I have no open accounts at all.  I had filed BK in 2009 and all debt was included.  Now the debt has beens sold to someone else and this Mr Green is trying to collect.  My lawyer will be getting a call and their number will be given to them.  Little do they know, but what they are doing is against the law.

Received numerous phone calls to my place of employment - its a recorded message indicating that they sent the employer of "me" paperwork that needs to be signed and if i have not signed that paperwork please call 877-333-7033.  So i called the number back and got Travis Owens.  He stated he has no clue what paperwork the message was referring to and had no idea what prerecorded message i was referring to.  He also said that the name of the employee was not even in his departmnt for handling.  Little did he know that the employee, me, spoke with him about two weeks ago and he threatened me and harassed me about a pay day loan i never had in 2007.  As soon as i called on behalf of my law firm, he had no clue what i was talking about.  FYI - check the statues of limitations on contracts in your state.  When i first spoke with him and advised him that the statute of limitations for contracts had expired he was trying to back track - saying oh well its felony check fraud then and i said really - where is the check that i supposedly wrote?  What is the name of the pay day lender i supposedly got money from?  All he could tell me was it was "corporate" and i told him when he had all of the details to call me back.  Never heard from him again until today with that same old prerecorded message about paperwork your employer has to have you sign.  And today when my employer and i called the number back he didn't know the employee was - what a scam - this should be illegal for people to do!  Don't pay these people one red cent.  See a lawyer.  By law, at least NJ law, any debt that is owed to anyone must be put in writing in the form of a demand for payment letter.  You then have 30 days to agree or disagree with the charges.  If you can't get anything in writing from them, curse them the hell out.

First I receive a local call from 317-219-4406, which plays a recorded message telling me numerous attempts have been made to contact me, but to no avail.  The recording advised that there is a case pending against me, blah, blah.  I was then instructed to call 877-333-7033 ext. 1.

I called this number and the person I spoke to said she was with ESP & Associates and her company had been retained by a national payday loan company to try and collect $660.20 for a loan I had with 1000paydayloan.com.  She wanted to know if I would like to set up arrangements before her company proceeds with filing a judgment against me.

I informed this woman that I have never had a payday loan with the company she referenced, which is 100% true.  She interrupted me to say that she shows......I again stopped her and reiterated that I have never taken a payday loan with the company she named, and that I am fully aware of the scam her company is trying to pull.  I ended by telling her not to call again and that I was filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities.

Yeah - the call me too using a Phoenix number. I have never lived in Phoenix, but livedin Tucson until 6 years ago. I actually answered today and it was the same message "We have sent paperwork to your employer blah blah blah." The genius of this scam is the simplicity. They know that people are embarrassed to have debt collectors calling them, and the threat of an empoyer finding out makes it even worse. A couple of years ago I have some calls of a similar nature from another company called "Affadavit Processing" when I told them that I had reported them to the FBI as a money laundering group terrorism they stopped calling me. Youall may want to try that, especially if you speak to a real person. Oh and they use cell numbers - because I can send automatic texts to the Phoenix number and it does not bounce back as being a landline, so they are likely using ghosted cell phone numbers. Scum of the earth.

I had been informed several years ago that Texas has a law that anything over 4 Years you do not have to pay.
This company said I had some papers to sign and they were trying to locate me.
    Like mail the information, please.

Has anyone reported these people or spoke to the attorney general about them? To the old employee, enlighten us on what its all about? I have looked at payday loans online but have neever taken one out. Now I am getting calls at work and home saying they will take me to court unless I pay. Next time they call I will either tell them I know its a scam and I have filed a complaint or ask them to send me something in writing. Wow people seriously need to get a real job.

I also am getting very menacing calls from this number says I have "paperwork that need to be signed" and I am to "call the mediation department" by the end of the day and this serves as my final notice.  They also call my work.  I am reporting the harassment to the Minnesota Attorney General who is very aggreesve at going after these people.  They also have started using a local MN area code.

I have been receiving calls from the 11111111111 and it was Travis Owens. It took him 2 days to email me the info I requested and when it came, it wasn't the actual information. He couldn't provide me with the name of the payday loan company or anything. He said I owed $455 but if I paid $255, he would have it removed from my credit report. I told him it's not even showing on my credit report. Then I get a call from them and this time it's Greg Smith, who sounds exacty like Travis Owens. They could really stop wasting their time with me. I'm not paying anything, especially from somebody I allegedly owe from 2007.

I had a pay day loan ONCE and paid it off TWICE because they scammed more money out of my account than agreed upon.  Now they want $800+ more.  If I pay, they will just start calling again to get more money.  The number changed to 877-377-7033.  Did not leave a name or say who they were.  What I really hate is that I put my parents information down for the pay day loan as a reference (thinking it was legitimate).  They still call my parents saying the County is going to come out and serve them (with something ... never say what).  The odd thing is where they live (small town USA) my Dad is the "county."  There should really be laws against this type of scam.  I am sure they are working through loop holes.  I have noticed how the number changes every X number of months to get people to answer.  When they call under another number, I let it go to voice mail because I don't recognize the number and they NEVER leave a message.

    Officer Tx
Just got a call from Mr. Green, number was 1111111111, call back was 877-333-7033,  with the same line, stating they were getting ready to proceed, and I would be going to court for hot check writing.  He made it sound so good, I wonder when will he figure out I am an officer of the law for the state of Texas.  Some people just don't give up, some really love their job more than family or life itself. Can't wait to let him know, he could be facing an arrest, if he doesn't stop calling harassing an officer.
