This number belongs to a "Web Host" (Wyatt Johnson is the owner I believe) and tried to collect $47.50 from my checking account. This is a fraud company in Utah. Second time I tried to call this number it says "temporarily disconnected.

Just happened to me yesterday, Jan 23, 2010.  Apparently, it is a service out of Orem UT (family member says it is also a drug company).  It could be related to a Google telemarketing app also that was a fraudulent act.

I am running a virus/internet check now on my computer and have found some trojan viruses and password protected stuff; running it as we speak;I have been on a couple of "adult" sites so it is probably a phishing site from which I had this issue.

FIX: call your credit card company (mine is Chase) and have them issue a new card OR close that account entirely(more trouble).  They should refund you any charges since this is apparently fraudulent.

MY SYSTEM: Windows 7 Pro... ( I have not looked into security issues for this OS as of yet, but will have Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 for now)

Good Luck! And, I wish there was some way of regulating this.

I just discovered the same thing, $47.50 charged to my credit card day before yesterday (1/22).  I tried calling the number and keep getting a voice message.  The charge is still pending so I'm calling the card company now.  Thanks for the input and I hope we all get this straightened out.  I wish there was a way to stop them.

info shown from the internet to be out of Orem,UT web Host owner Wyatt Johnson? they somehow take $'s from your debt or credit card. I was socked for $47.50.  I Just spoke with a female person named Tiara who would not allow me to finish a sent. said that they just requested a refund on my acct and put in a request to have our money returned (call back in 5-7 days). I ask to spk with accounting was told that they do not receive incoming calls. (I was told that this stemmed from a cdrom that we ordered for $1.98 in Dec. Who ever trained the person who answers the phones has told them not to send a call to anyone. When ask to speak with a superviser was told they not take calls. The phone # that shows up on bank statement 877-337-7941.

The website for this fraud is WEBHOSTSERVICESONLINE.COM ... here's hoping we can get these crooks shutdown before any more charges appear on my MC.

They got me too. I just got off the phone with my bank. It is going to take 10 days to get money back. I bought that cd for $1.98 also back in Dec. I don't remember if they stated that there would be any follow up charges. I'm pretty stoked about it! I'm going to file a complaint with everybody I can think of, including then Attorney General of Utah.

I just found out tonight, when I went online to check my bank statement, that there was a $47.50 charge for purchase Webhostsvr8779.  I called the 800 number for my bank and the person supplied me with this telephone number.  I called the number and got a recording for hours of operation, but no company name.  That led me to bringing up this site.  I too believe this was a direct result of the Google CD scam, as I also sent in $1.98 for the CD.  I was called about 3 different times in the early part of Jan., but not on the day this was charged to my account.  I too will cancel my charge card, and report this to the proper authorities, including the Attorney General in Utah.

I received an e-mail saying they were charging my credit card $99.00; didn't say what it was for or anything.  I immediately notified my bank and hopefully this charge will not go through.  I also e-mailed "Wyatt Johnson" saying I didn't authorize such charge and for him to cancel it immediately.  I haven't heard back and according to all of the complaints on this site, probably won't.

Fraud division of BMWCards was able to get a person on the phone with us.  Aparently, the $47 and $99 are buried in fine print when you purchase the $2 intro disk.  I was told it is not a disputable charge even with me telling them to cancel the card if that was the case.

I had the same $47.50 and $99 charge on my bank statement.  I called 877-337-7941 and was able to get both charges reversed.  I told them these were fraudulent charges and that they are all over the Internet as being fraudulent. I told them that if they didn't reverse the charges I was going to have my bank dispute the fraudulent charges, so either way I wasn't going to pay.  It worked.
