A “magazine subscription service” which I bought two housekeeping magazines for my wife from, by credit card. They’re sending/took money for more magazines I never signed up for. (And never would. Sheesh. Pick better magazines!)
The FBI is chasing down and prosecuting such scammers. If you google the # here, the top entry will return as the FBI’s info/form page for this.

I used both Yahoo and Google and neither one returned that as the top entry.  Google did not return it at all in any of their pages.  Yahoo returned it at the bottom of the first search page.  Here is the link which you could have easily provided.  https://www.fbi.gov/resources/victim-services ... s-investigation

If you did not order them, the USPS says that they can be considered as gifts and you do not have to pay for them and can ignore any bills sent requesting payment (the same goes for any other merchandise that is mailed to you that you never ordered nor requested).
But, just to be safe, you should keep an eye on your credit card statements and bank account for any unauthorized charges or withdrawals.

Why on God's Green Earth would you think that your post will be seen by these people and what in the world made you think that putting your name and address on an open website was a really great idea?

Michael posted here last July.  I doubt that he will be back.  Did you read the reply to him?  Maybe you should have.

I also received People Mag and I don't want it.  Did they charge you?

Not sure why you care if that person was charged or not, but you can simply keep the ones you got if you were not charged. If you were, then return them and file a dispute with the bank or card they charged it to.
