I just received a phone call from this number as well.  caller stated that I am to be served to attend court due to a lawsuit that is being filed against me.  I'm curious if this is just another effort from a bill collector.  Anyone else deal with this?

I received a phone call from this same number as well. They also stated I was served a legal affidavit and am to appear in court for my pending law suit. And, something about a notice of intent.

I received a call from this number yesterday and they stated the exact same thing. Who are these people, did anyone respond to get an answer? Thanks

Yes my sister-in-law got a phone call for my name from this same number as well. They also stated I was served a legal affidavit and am to appear in court for my pending law suit. And, something about a notice of intent.  Yes I called this number and it said something like National Check Resulution. Then I called it back and it just rang a few times and then nothing, no one ever answered. So Im not sure about it either.

They are a scam.  They left a message saying "this is the cops."  I damn near busted out laughing.  They left 4 "final" attempts.  Just a bunch of vague threats.  Nothing more, nothing less.

I got his same message. each message was a final notice. lol...

Unfortunatly its not a scam, I thought it was at first but then I was served and have to go to court for a stupid best buy card that I didnt pay

Got the call and the same story.  Called back and indeed it is in regards to court actions to resolve debt.  I have a common name so after I confirmed the last 4 of my social and my middle initial they determined I was not the person they were looking for.  They said they would take my number out of their system and not call me again.  Which is good, because if they would call me again after being informed of their error, they would be in violation of various laws.  Long story short, if you have bad debt and try to dodge this you may end up in court versus trying to resolve this over the phone. But no, it doesn't look like a scam...

They didn't even call me. They looked up my family and called one of them. Which was very wrong. What if that was my family member? Then we would have problem.

Tried to call back and did not get any answer.
They should not be calling my work number. If this is legite, call my home or mail me something!

I have received two voice mail messages from Mr. C. R. Jones stating he was going to serve me Monday with a summons and then the next message stated he is to serve me on tomorrow. He has when so far as to call on of my family members.

Get an attorney if you are being harrassed, I did and they settled easy for $ 3000.000, attorney kept half, so I netted $ 1500.00

I believe that a process server would not call me in advance, this made no sense to me. Why would they call me everyday? Sounds an awful lot like a scam to me!   got the calls stopped by calling 855-672-1988 and speaking with a guy named chris. he said NCR is a real company, but they are not allowed to misrepresent themselves or harass me. Chris said I actually may have a case for harassment and he will be referring an attorney to me. He even got them to stop calling me. Best part. He did it for free.

There was supposed to be a process server coming to my house almost a week ago. Good news is I called their bluff. Bad news is they are calling me more often. My freedom came free and it was delivered by a man named chris. his number is 855-672-1988. Call him and get results fast.

I too called chris and he suggest I pay national check resolution. The BBB rates them an F. Should I listen to chris and pay up? Can someone else chime in?

I am confused is helper a shill? Is chris part of the scam? I agreed verbally for NCR to take $$$ from my prepaid card on the 20th of this month. How do I know if they are legit and not a bunch of people just coldcalling me representing themselves as a debt collector?
