- Tred replies to AndyHey you're responding to year old posts. It does show that NCR or NCI debt collections may be responsible. Both are as stated debt collectors. You may be confused due to their collection tactics that are "deceptive and unfair business practices." If they contacted you under this number add the details of contact.
- ShillKill replies to MottsYou are a shill! This "company" is using illegal tactics by threatening to "serve people". How dare you lie and try to deceive the folks! Have a rotten New Year you maggot!
- HollywoodThis company will call usually trying to get you to pay a debt that was previously paid partially or in full. The debt gets bounced around to several companies usually sold for pennies on the dollar. They are collectors who break every law imaginable. The average person is unaware of their rights when it comes to these kinds of calls. Once you speak with them they are not to call you again within 30 days. They are not to call you after 9 pm (your time zone). When you ask for a manager they will place you on hold while they discuss the call with a proxy. They are not to call your neighbors or relatives if you do not reside at the residence called. The way the get your home number is they take your personal info and enter onto a site like; Ring Trace, Spokea.com, peoplesmart.com etc. For 99 cents they can get numbers to call associated with your last known address. They are not allowed to discuss the matter with anyone other than the person whom the call is intended. The statement about paperwork or summons or a writ being mailed is false, these forms have to be served by a processor and no they are not allowed to come to your job. People know your rights.

- annie replies to masterpeeeeeeno they are a sh$t company with a sh$t F rating.. they use all kinds of tactics to get a age unsecured debt paid that they bought for pennies.. they tack on interest and fees and fines and scam people .. they "misrepresent themselves as legal authorities when they are really "debt buyers" who buy debt from credit card companies for a fraction and then try to collect organized crimes interest inflated debt from the consumer.. we had a card that was about 300. balance ---a card we stopped using in 2011---tried to tell cc company of our woes and we would pay 25.00 a month without charging us more and more interest fees and fines--they declined our offer.. next thing we know, it was sold to one of these debt buying companies and they try to tell us it is about 977.00 now.. can we all say "illegal".... Do not listen to Chris--he most likely works for the scammers!

- samI apologize for the typo, they stated I owe some bank $777.35 received call from Charles Emanuel
- PSIReceived a vm threatening to come to the house to 'serve' for a dept by paydayloans that they recovered.....
My lady actually took out a payday loan around 700 bucks and didn't pay it while in undergrad.
Called back --- said that she owed 1200 (guessing due to penalties).... spoke with the manager and informed him of her rights..... requested a debt verification sent to the house.....reported that her representative threatened a person to come by the house everyday until she is there and court filings for "fraud" (when they tried to debt from account it didn't work ...so I guess they want to use that word?) and e-mail update for payment schedule (she originally set a payment schedule, but we changed it to a later date upon receipt of debt verification)
I've seen scams....not taking any chances. also the e-mail for the original debt was send as a normal text e-mail from info@nationalcheckre.com --- which he said was used as mailer address.
I'll update when I receive the letter..... which she is entitled to upon request... since she never received mail in the first place.....- Caller: NCR

- SmurfI keep receiving a recorded message that is unclear. It is requesting I call them back before something bad will happen to. I've tried calling them back and the phone either keeps rinning or it disconnects. I've talked to a live person yet and they have been calling now for about 2 months.

- Stephanie BHa. Yes, got a pre-recorded call on voicemail. This Chris guy that people are talking about? He IS with this company! Do your research people! I have asked numerous times for written proof of this said loan that I have, I have been cussed at, hung up on, etc. So I am simply blocking the many numbers they call from, INCLUDING this Chris persons number! Yes, they have called me from 855-672-1988, which is supposedly Chris' number, demanding money, that I can't get a written verification on. And they NEVER call to warn you that you are going to be served, ever. Just a fear tactic.

- Faye Henderson replies to drew| 1 replyThank you for that information, it was helpful, NCR has been harrassing me and threatening me to send a police on my job or house to serve papers to me. I offer to pay 100 a month, but they said they want allow it has to be more. So Im stopping my card with them, I have no money for that.
- Alfalfa replies to Faye HendersonAn actual Process Server is not going to have any conversation with you about any debt you owe, nor will they demand payment from you. If something like this happens, immediately call local law enforcement and make a full report including as much descriptive information as you can give them of the person impersonating a court officer.
http://www.bbb.org/blog/2012/03/beware-bogus-process-servers/ - DamonYea I too just got a call stating I had a debt from a pay day loan co. Over a year ago. I never got a letter or statement from either the pay day co. Or these people who also called a family member, that if I don't pay within 48 hours they would sent someone to serve me court papers, I asked them for statements from this payday co they said they don't need to send me anything , that they mailed a demand letter 90 days ago. Which I have never received or heard of this company. What should I do?
