Received a junk fax from Preferred Client Division.  The top of the fax is a phony copy of a check written out to our company supposedly for $77,860 for equipment leasing.  This is our pre approved amount for cash, bills, payroll and whatever other expenses we see fit.  We can pay back in low monthly payments just call 888-422-8628 ext 1 for Wilson Rey.  To be "removed" 877-370-2808.  Fax is going to be shredded.

Will not be responding to this "To Be Removed From Our List" number.  Do not want to confirm they reached a valid fax number with their scam attempt.

Fake removal number listed on a travel scam fax.

Have been received fax for years now.  Says to "opt out" you must return the fax to a specific # or go to some website that doesnt even register on google.  They want to "buy" our company.  Bull.  Shredder.

remove our fax number from your database, we know this is a scam and is wasting our toner and paper. we have enough to cope with now via fax and other things and as it is paper and toner are climbing in price! thank you. Fax again and you will be reported.

definitely as it seems that's all it is; I registered our numbers with do not call and we get a flood of calls. I am wondering if that is actually legit.

Fake removal number listed on a junk fax advertising a pre-approved business loan scam.

Received a fax using this number as the opt out number.  This fax is for travel - but no mention of a business name anywhere on the fax.  Also uses 888-775-6288 to book the travel.

I get faxes constantly from them on my business line which is on a no call list
They do not remove me either when I request it

Now this number is back to being listed as a "removal" number for travel scam junk faxes.

heads up agents can very rude when you request for removal.

The company name at 1-888-534-3336 is www travel.  At least that is what they told me after I have to inquire several ways in a sneaky way.  

When I asked to have my faxed removed as the number on the flyer did not work, Calvert was his name, told me to call it again.  I told him I called three times and no answer and that I wanted his company to call whomever to get my fax number removed.  He told me "it doesn't work that way pal", I told him I wanted to speak to a supervisor.  He told me to '[***] off" and that if "I didn't like it he would bend my wife over his desk and [***] her".

When I called back again to ask for a supervisor to complain about such rude employees, some woman who claimed to be a supervisor but would not give her name said to me  "shut up" and "do you want the real number to remove the fax or not?"

Does anyone know if it is illegal to mount a campaign to call the toll free number over and over and hang up to disrupt their business just like it disrupts my life with constant faxes not solicited?

How can a company be doing business in the USA without any address or supervision?

Received this on a work fax. I called to check out one of the trips that are listed for $149. I spoke to a guy who said after all the fees, the trip will cost $215pp, which includes airfare.  You have to pay $150 up front, then when you're ready to book your trip, you pay the balance.  You have to book at least 60 days in advance of your planned trip.  You have to book at least 2 people on a package for it to be legit. They deal with Harrah's, New York-New York, and one of his personal favorites, The Mirage.  The deadline to purchase the deal is by April 26th, (today is the 25th).  So, I asked him to send me an email with the details so that I can forward it to my friends.  His response, "I'm here to answer all your questions ma'am."  I said that's fine, but it's easier to have it in an email so that I can forward it.  He said, "I'm sorry. I can't do that."  So I thanked him and hung up.  

The number to call for the deal is 888-534-3336.  
The number to be removed from their fax list is 877-370-2808.  I haven't called this number yet.

UPDATE:  The number to call to be removed from their list is an invalid number.  Go figure!  It's a scam.

We have received repeated faxes. Twice today I have called the "to be removed from this fax list" number on the bottom of the latest fax; the line was busy.  We are a public community college in Florida. Obviously, noone wants to buy our "company."

So far today I've received 3 faxes from 3 different companies with the 877-370-2808 as the fax removal #.  I actually did get a recording and put in my fax number.  Probably a mistake, not I've confirmed its a real #.  Interesting thing though is that all of the #'s to call (in all 3 faxes) if interested are from Canada.  That's probably how they get around the laws here.  The 3 companies were:  Bank Capital Direct, Wall Street International, and Business Sold by Owner.
