- joe| 5 repliesCompany out of el paso texas said they have a check for me but I have to sign the form and have it notarized plus send them a copy of my state given I.D. .So I blocked my number and called the phone number that was on the paper (877-372-8313) and talk to someone and gave them my name so they said they would have to put me on hold to pull my file but when they got back on the phone after getting my file they didn't have any of the info that was on the paper that they had mailed to me. The guy was asking me how much money the paper said they owed me and for my phone number etc.... Not really sure about this deal so I'm trying to find out any info about it before I doing anything else with it.

- E replies to joeJoe - I just got a letter from these folks. I think it might be a scam. You can look up and claim money due to you in the state of Texas here http://www.window.state.tx.us/up/ all for free.
- Elaine replies to joeJoe, I also received the same type of letter with the same instructions. This has scam written all over it.
- Patrick replies to joe| 2 repliesYah they claim to have a refund from my bond i had to pay to get out of prison for an over nighter when i payed 300dollars to get out now they are saying that they have a refund for that i have never heard of such a thing etting you bail money back? Whats that about?
- TYLERThis is a TOTAL SCAM!!!!! I got a letter from this FFRC Refund Department and they ask you to have a notarized form giving them power of attorney and send it to them with a copy of your ID. The letter is sent from Florida, and if you google the FFRC Refund Department or search for the address they provide, it is for a random office park in El Paso and there are no records of this company. Total scam!
- lil rider| 1 replygot this letter and it has the same phone number 877-372-8313
RECEIVED IT LAST WEEK- Caller: FFRC REFUND DEPARTMENT
- Hughie| 1 replyI received a letter from this organization as well but they have an address in Dallas. It's as follows: 6565 N. MacArthur Blvd #225, Dallas, TX 75039. The phone number listed is 1-877-372-8313. I actually had the letter notarized and sent to them. A few weeks later they send me another affidavit saying that because they don't have the original bond receipt that I need to get another letter notarized and sent to them. It's the same address but a different number: 1-800-936-5769. I'm not sure but this seems like a scam. I was arrested in 2007 and I'm getting letters for this now. Plus I looked them up on google and nothing comes up. It seems to me that someone has leaked some information at a bail bonds or police department out into the public.
- chick replies to PatrickI also recieved a letter from the refund dept reguarding a friend i tried to bail out. he decided to stay in jail to get the charges dropped and my money was already refunded 2 yrs ago. I don't understand why they'd wait till now to bring this up and I'm feeling a little iffy about this, especially after all the other posts i've read on here
- chick replies to Patrickabout what you said, last i knew, if you ever did get refunded, you'd have to pick up the $$ from the bailbonds that you paid.
- chick replies to Hughiewhen i looked up this listing on yahoo.com to look for a phone #, nothing came up and i couldn't find a number on the letter i received
- Joe| 2 repliesThis is a scam. I just got sent one the other day for a bond that I posted for a friend a few years back. The page "Assignment of Cash Bond" is basically saying that you give up all rights to the bond over to FFRC. You're pretty much signing a check over to them. They actually helped me out though. It says which sheriffs office it's at and they list the case number at the top.
Here's what you do:
Call the County Clerk for that office (in my case the Sheriff of Dallas County) and let them know that you would like to get your refund back and then give them your Case # (which FFRC listed for you). You can google it too. I googled Sheriff of Dallas County and got ther number from actual county page. Call them. They may transfer you a few times but they'll eventually point you in the right direction and you can get all that money back yourself. lol.
All you need is your bond receipt. If not they will have a copy of it there for you. They charge a couple bucks for it.
I'm going up there tomorrow to get my refund. $500.
Thanks FFRC! Who got scammed now? That's what you get for sending it to a Banker! - David Kelly P.A.Actually, this is not a scam. They are a legit company that provides refunds. I am an Attorney in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and a couple of my clients used their service and received their money within days.

- RobinI agree that this is not a scam. I am involved in the Courts and they provide a very valuable service.
Robin - Joe F.| 4 repliesFFRC Refund Department is NOT a scam. Our law firm uses their service all the time. They have a AAA rating with Department of Exchange and Resources.
Its unfortunate that this website offers availability that anyone can post their opinion regardless of truth or merit.
Again, FFRC Refund Department is NOT a scam. I am partner in one of the biggest Law Firms in Dallas and can assure you they are legit and offer a very valuable service.
Thank You,
Joe - justthetruth replies to Joe F.| 3 repliesOh really whats the name of the law firm???
- towinatlast replies to justthetruth| 2 repliesI agree with justthetruth, if your law firm is THAT big in Texas, this is FREE advertisement - what's the name of the firm????
I JUST called this company and got a recorded message asking that I leave my name and telephone number, TWICE (that's what the message said. I also looked them up in the Florida Secretary of State Corporation Database, this company is NOT LISTED as a corporation, LLC, partnership, etc.
I have been with a law firm in New Orleans for MANY MANY years and have been contacted by a client who posted a CASH bond in 2001 and JUST received letter from this bogus company requesting POA, picture I.D., etc. in order to obtain cash bond on his behalf. WHAT BENEFIT WOULD ANY COMPANY RECEIVE FOR DOING THIS OUT OF THE KINDNESS OF ITS HEART????? IT'S A SCAM. - Mango| 3 repliesGuys can some help me out please i live abroad and am not sure if the man ive met is litgit I have an address of his so called company, but ive noticed the the above comments are mentioning the same address can someone please verify weather this address is correct something is telling me this guy ive met is a bogus he says his company address is:

- juan carlos replies to MangoYes, I verified this adress and is a nice building, nice office and they do accept this kind of letters but they do not send them, they come from another office, the office in El Paso is real as well, my son hired them to reimburse some bail bond money he had, hope this work for you, but always be careful for scamers. They have to have more customer service quality, if they want to represent you, ask them to cantact you personally. Good Luck
