still calling im going to change my number!!

They are Allied Collection services.  There are considered scavenger debt collectors.  They buy extremely old debts.  They only pay about 5 cents on the dollar for the debt.  You need to tell them per the Fair Debt Collection Act that they are not to contact you any more.  If they do, you can sue them.  If the debt is like 6 or more years since last contact or activity on the debt, they have no recourse.  They can threaten you all they want.  They are trying to scare you into paying the debt off.  Don't give them any money or promise to pay anything or the statute of limitation starts all over again.  They then can legally collect the debt from you.

We keep getting a call on our cell # from 877-375-6990 on our verizon wireless phone. How do we block this #?

I get this call everyday and they never leave a message. They will call you three or four times a day. I get tired of them calling my phone everyday and I be like maybe I need to change my number but I had this number for 5 years now.

Has been calling me about once a day for a week.  Never leaves a message.  I think the earlier calls may have had a recording, but the more recent ones are just dead air when you pick it up.  It's getting ANNOYING.

I get two and three calls a day from this number.  Started 5/25.  I do not answer as I have caller ID and I do not know anyone from that area code 877.  I have filed a complaint with the Federal Do Not Call Registry and the Federal Trade Commission.  Suggest all you folks do the same

Call them back, tell them to never call you again, threaten their life, call them and [***], and hang up. Worked for me.

Continues to call municipal offices with multple employees. They begin calling around 8:00 AM every morning. As of late they have been calling later in the day. They always call twice.

Calls around 3pm each and every day.  Since I work at night, I call them back at least 20 times a day just to mess with them.  It's fun, and boy do they get pissed!!

I've been getting calls from the now for about 1-1/2 weeks. Never say anything. I called back to see who it was, and it was either "LA" or "Allied" Interstate Debt Company. I DON'T HAVE ANY DEBTS!!! God, my husband would be P--SED if he knew about this!!! It was just a message saying who it was then hung up. I won't change my number, having had this number for 20 years, so SCREW THEM!!

same as others....calls from computer, called the # back & all I got was a recording & music.  Did some searching and found a number where you can talk to a human and have calls STOPPED .  Allied Interstate is now iQor (www.iqor.com)  iQor's Consumer Advocacy # is 1-800-811-4214 .  They will give you any account info and depending on what that is (different w/ each individual) a number(s) to call to have the calls to you stopped.

The caller calls my phone many times aday and when I answer the call it is a computer telling me they are transferring my call and I just hang it up because they have left messages on my phone by computer saying any infor collected will be used to collect a debt. now this is harassment and needs to be stopped.

Recieving recorded calls identifying themselves as LA Interstate, a debt collector. The call repeats itself over and over and gives no other details. I contated them and they promised my number was taken off. Still recieving the calls!
