a pop up screen came up in google telling to to contact 877-389-5856 my banking info was at risk.  It said it was from Microsoft.  it froze my computer

I had two voicemails telling me the same things everyone is hearing. Im glad i looked up the number.

robo caller keeps calling almost everyday they say someone has filled a complaint and something is attached to my social they just give this phone number to call

It’s 2019 and I see the same calls are still happening. I receive a call a least once a week stating the same thing the others on this post have said. Pre-recorded message saying they have my social and a file with my name on it. If I don’t call back it will be refusal to resolve. Like the others I did some research and ended up here. I knew it wasn’t legitimate, but I just wanted to see what other information people found out about that number and again, I ended up here. This is not the number they called from, but they said to call this number back.

It's a SSN scam

I got a call today.  Same language, same threat.  I will block and not respond.  Thank you.

It is a call from EAS Collections. They are rude and obnoxious. They are even calling for someone who used to have my number. I've blocked their calls, but they seem to have an unlimited amount of ways to cover their real number.

Recieved recorded message from rep claiming they had a case with my name and social just as all these other calls. I want going to call but I was curious. so I called and the same voice answered the line. I didnt give him my name or number. He knew it all. He asked for me and if it was the right number. I went ahead and admitted who I was. HE VERIFIED MY FULL NAME D.O.B. AND LAST 4 OF MY SOCIAL. Said he was calling in regards to a personal business matter and went into details. It was a legit call in my case.

Just receveid the same call from EAS. Totally a scam, they dont even tell you more information of where they are calling from.Theres nothing to worry about, just dont call the back nor give them any kind of information. Dont waste your time asking nothing else you dont know if they want to track you down. BE SAFE!

Well, if they called you then they have already tracked you down.

I received the same BS call as has been reported in years past.
